This is indeed timely, just this morning I was beating myself up over this very thing. Let's say, I have a colourful background, I know Gods hand has been on me for a long time. I have recently come out of a highly abusive and longterm relationship with my wife. We were put together by the Devine to help each other, both of us feeling unlovable. But it has not worked out for my wife at all. She is now in prison. You are right I don't look at all like a child of God, this has caused me a lot of problems within the church, nevertheless, I have always strived to be what God says I am, I am also frequently, my own worst enemy, being too hard on myself, critical and feel undeserving. This has to stop, it is clearly going to interfere with Gods plan and I refuse to allow that to happen.
