I love those old Triumph Motorcycles they are great and they are very classic looking. My only complaint is they do not compare in performance when you start talkin about a Honda 300 Scrambler or superhawk or a Yamaha Big Bear scrambler those Japanese motorcycles put those old triumphs to shame completely out-of-date and do not have performance at all but they do look better if you're going for a beauty contest.
Hi Eric, thanks for the comment, I agree that there are many great bikes that eclipse the Triumphs but I was in my late teens when Triumphs were around in rural England as well as BSAs and nostalgia is a powerful motivator.
@@DiningRoomGarage-rv4lh copy that understand and I had a couple of those old bikes. And the 650s I had were classic. But I switched over to Honda and then I got a Kawasaki 500 3 cylinder in 1970 it had 60 horsepower Factory I got about 30 horsepower more out of it so I was really at about 90 horsepower I strip down over 100 pounds off that bike and I had a bike that would fly. At any time I got there a Harley-Davidson or a Triumph for any of those old Royal enfield's or Norton's I could do a wheel stand at about 80 miles an hour and Fly Right on by.
Hi Robert, I have not used the rack, but the tank had the fixing holes so it made sense to fit the rack. Also I do like the look! Thanks for the comment... David

Looking at this vintage Triumph, l realize l had forgotten about the tie down rack that they had for many years.
