I've just had exactly the same problem with this exact model, the drain pipe must have been blocked or something was caught in the pump, I ended up blowing down the pipe, put some water into the condenser and turned it on, must be OK cause it's working now so thanks for the Video, it gave me some good clues as to what to check. PS I hate this dryer.....
Owen. Take off the pump again, take off that little cover on the bottom, and trim a hair width off the top of each side of that impeller. Where the impeller is like an S, it has swelled and is stuck on the side walls and not able to rotate correctly. Trimming 1mm off either end till the impeller is no longer rubbing the walls of the pump, fixes it, be good as new.
Oh Balfie! My money’s all spent and a new pump is here. I saw the blades only for sale or the complete pump cover unit. I opted for the latter. £17 on the bay. There’s always next time! It’s a dud design. I’d say that machine had no work. He said the pump had been replaced before and gave it away. It is with a friend now so I am down £17 and the world is up a video and the machine lives on. Have you seen @deandohertygreaser ? You’re one step away from being an internet superstar!
@@bootsowen ah 17 quid ain't bad for a new pump, they have changed them pumps, it has a new plastic impeller in them, it was causing an issue with that old rubber impeller, an the fix was to trim it that little bit so wouldn't rub the walls. Works quite well, I've not been back to any that I've fixed, of ur friend tells u it's happening again just trim it. Fella u got it off wudda saved a few bob. Some of the newer engineers wouldn't know the old fix so new pump but it was always gonna happen again with that rubber impeller. Yeah I've seen his videos, what about him? I watch a good few of them,
@@bootsowen oh, I'd love to buddy, I have the problem that the powers that be prob wouldn't like it, I'd need permission, an then I'd need permission every time I went into someone's home to record, be alot of logistic stuff that has to go into it rather than just record a video unfortunately,
I'm not sure about you wearing a dress lol. Perhaps when you are repairing something, wear a pinny with a pocket on the front for tools lol. Well the dryer looks in a decent state It doesnt seem to have a real fault.
I used to wear a pinny in the workshop. I prefer the shop jackets now. I got a big insulated overalls for the shed in winter. One the workers wear in freezer warehouses. Frocks strictly for the weekend.
I'm not sure about the frocks, ill leave that to Ron on his radio repair channel glasslinger You may notice he is rather different lol. Dam clever man though :-D

I'm saying you should make some videos Balfie. Washing machines are oddly popular on the internet!
