like the video suggested, you CAN export your save files to a USB, but the way the PS5 system works suggests that it's ultimately unnecessary. here's why: - Save data backup on PS5 relies on the player to have a PS+ subscription (it's a greedy marketing thing). By having a playstation plus subscription, save data backup is automatic. You will never have to worry about your cloud save files unless the entire Sony server network burn down simultaneously, or something happens to your console that requires to pull data from the cloud. - Unlike PS4, save data on PS5 is not meant to be freely exported and imported. Thank you!
hi, is there a way to download gamesave on pc and transfer to ps5 with usb?
i have been trying to download gamesave and tried to transfer to my ps5 with usb, but my ps5 cannot find the save on usb
“Counsel”?
This is the most evil feature. I wish I could return my ps5. I can’t bring games over to friends houses anymore. So glad I bought it used and don’t gets no money
Free cloud saves on Xbox no matter which Xbox you own, you don't need any subscription. Why are Sony charging for this ?
Damn. I still haven't restored my PS+ because I've decided to go through my backlog of games i actually bought until I'm ready to play my PS+ games I've collected for almost a decade lol and I've never played multiplayer games except for Dead by Daylight, so I'm punished and unable to back up my saves to my USB drive in a sane way because i don't need PS+? Geez
Can I transfer this data to the pc version of the game and continue playing?
Hey I'm with you on that question too. Let me know if you've been able to transfer ps5 game data to pc. I'd appreciate it. That method would be so helpful to other people too.
Legend. Was this part of a new update or was it always an option?
@Post Rock thanks for the reply friend
@postrock3374what that sucks! ;-;
Let's start a petition. We can win this battle.
Can i share my save file to my friend
So many people can’t say console.
Hello does it work? I’m planning to buy ps plus for 1 month just to make sure my saves are safe
Thank you, you just saved my skin. So I am playing resident evil 2 and I just finished playing claire story mode for the first time. I was about to do a second run. I forgot I have start a new file on Leon I was like oh fudge. I tried to delete Leon's file and see if I can play 2nd run on claire but I couldn't. I was like oh darn. Now I have to start both games over. ugh.
All my games have been deleted. Does anyone have a solution to restore them?
Hello canni move my ps5 games to my pc ?
it says i have no space left on my usb drive but i have 6 gb empty on it
Can you transfer share data from Xbox to PS five
This is insane, noone is going to factory wipe their ps5 to restore saves.
Anyone remember how easy it was to copy, tranfer and generally handle your saves on a PS1 or PS2 memory card?
With their PSN service they are charging you for something they took away from you.
this was no problem on ps4 but its pretty obvious that they want to force people to a ps+ subscribtion
Why can't I copy from one external to another unless they have a 4tb USB drive
Could we combine 2 storage USB drives togethdr with the save files and merge them into one through a pc?
Well my ps5 games are not listed
could you then put this usb into a computer and use the save data from a ps5 game on PC?
Sony need to update this. Because this BS. They want you to use plus to make it easier. And again that’s BS
so u can't i thought it would take less than 20MB each game.
