Mine just arrived earlier today and I am really enjoying it! Definitely recommend buying it if you like Gigan’s design. Putting the cluster beam effect on the stand was kinda scary
Got him in a few weeks ago, and he’s absolutely incredible. The accessories alone make him worth a pick up, IMO. I don’t have many SHMA figures so far at the time of posting this comment. So his display options and articulation really blew me away.
The beam is clunky and my shoulder pads fall off, but other than that, I love mine. I gotten him into some awesome poses and he's just fun to mess with. And hands down the best tail, at least from the SHMA I own. I do wish the beam snapped or plugged in instead of just an overlay.

Another difference I see with the battle version and the og version is that the Visor on the new one seems fuller than the original. great review, and im loving the figure
Great video as always! Just wanted to let it be known that the problem you were mentioning with the mandibles being loose on the previous figure is actually present in my Decisive Battle Gigan. Also having a problem with his right shoulder pad being extremely loose and easily falls off if moved while adjusting the arms. Bandai doing what Bandai does best I guess. Still really happy with the figure!
Got this guy for my first S.H MonsterArts earlier this month. I love it but i do have an issue. The laser beam is hard for me to put on the stand. In fact, i haven't even gotten to put it on yet. Im a bit scared of using too much force and breaking it.
I got mine but mine came with a factory defect it has writing on it where someone wrote on the replacement neck with a pen how would I get a replacement part for that neck without having to send the whole figure back because I don’t want to deal with that
Looks like I might need to get this afterall. I kinda wanted it but had a lot of X-Plus preorders to deal with and heard that they didn't update the mouth.
Hopefully, i manage to get the S.H.MonsterArts Gigan in Great Decisive Battle version because i definitely 💯 percent love that design 😀. Like what i expected, old and new S.H.MonsterArts Gigan in Great Decisive Battle version, both of them is very similar meaning clearly nothing different at all except for the ball joint 🙄. I do like this figure…however (and I’m going to sound like a broken record) what I really want are the Showa characters. Showa Gigan was always my favorite villain.

I really want this figure because this version of gigan is my all time favorite. The reason I am hesitant to get him is because of the price. $150 is a lot of money for this figure So I don't know If I should wait or let go.

I really wish though he came with a flight stand cause I mean what’s the point in giving us a flight character and showing him in flight poses if there’s no stand to support him? So I guess the thing to worry about are the blades in the saw hands. Any issues with the chain wires? Like are you able to wrap them around his own arm blades while at the same time around another figure with no issues?
RE: Chains I mean if you go ham on them, yeah, they'll snap, they're bendy wire. But for wrapping, yeah you can pretty much bend them around anything, they're flexible enough.
I preordered mine for some reason it hasn’t arrived but it might arrive in 2022 but I don’t think it’s coming but I’ve got out of my gigan obsession so I don’t think there’s any hope for my figure
I'm down, especially Krystalak it's design is pretty cool. Obsidius is kinda generic, I wouldn't mind getting a special edition with a updated design kinda like Godzilla 2000 was based on concept art.

Crossing my fingers this gets another rerelease. This is my favorite version of Gigan and I just started collecting kaiju figures

My left shoulder pad has that issue, but the mandibles are fine for me. Not _perfect,_ but they stay plugged in just fine.
I got this figure for Christmas, im so glad to waited for it cause honestly love the added special features.

I remember getting the original for $65 on amazon way back. I'll give this one a skip but I'm going all out for Final Wars Godzilla to him with him.
