Love Rafa to bits, great manager for Liverpool, best we had in years. Was a shame that he had to endure the nightmare that was the Hicks & Gillett, which must have been almost impossible to work under, and was a major factor in him leaving the club. If that hadn't have happened I reckon he would probably still be at the club, and would have built an absolute empire by now! Instead we had to go back to basics, and to be fair to Rodgers he's doing a decent job so far.
I would swap klopp for Benítez simply because I feel with these owners ie FSG their business model understanding and backing Rafa would do a brilliant job and really would build an empire. (Would’ve swapped klopp at the start not now as it’s way too late he’s done good his team his way) Rafa will always have a special place in our hearts ♥️

Benitez is obviously a good guy with a good footballing brain - but at the end of the day the guys that go the stadium count and they just didn’t want him (not enough of them anyway). I thought it was a good shout when he first for appointed. Carlo fecked off to Spain and Benitez genuinely wanted to manage everton and to live on the Wirral. Ah well. Made for a good night last night. My throat is sore and so is my nose.

Rafa qualified for the champs league every season, he won it, & got to another final, he was also unlucky not to win the prem , he's way ahead of Rodgers
scouserla1 Nah rodgers is great, i feel the only reason we played average 1st half of last season is that rodgers was just getting settled into the club and having to clean up Dalglishs mess still.
Liverpool's best player was bought by Dalglish, Rafa is far superior to Rodgers, his record proves it, he's also managed at the very top in 3 different countries
