If you could help support this channel so I can keep buying and reviewing these pre-built models I would really appreciate your support 😃. I plan on reviewing ALL of the 21st Century, Elite Force, Jsi/Merit 1:18 scale models. It will get expensive haha.
it was so easy to take the intricate detail for granted as a kid. Now looking at these as an adult, these toys are pieces of art! Absolutely beautiful jet btw
My dad would’ve loved that, that was his favorite jet.
The Radio Loop behind the cockpit is a DF radio loop and as for the marking's it is the Aircraft of Kommando Nowotny a Luftwaffe fighter Gruppe formed during the last months of World War II for testing and establishing tactics for the Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighter, and was created and first commanded by Walter Nowotny, from whom it drew its name. White Eight was his personal Aircraft.
Yes he was one of the Top Aces from Jg 54 Green Hearts 258 Victories and he was from Austria too greetings
See I personally think that if any model or toy(really made for collectors) should have historically accurate markings no matter the nation it’s from. Removing the swastika only harms history and helps people forget what that symbol represents and who used it.
Goes for games too.
As for the model it’s self, actually glad I found your channel because these models are really cool and pretty big too, it’s nice to see someone unbox them in high quality and actually know the history on the models
I agree. The swasticker actually comes from American Indians as a sign of healing. Hitler used it for evil
Agreed. Thankfully, there is people out there who supply aftermarket decals (waterslide and sticker types), for a couple of bucks. Ebay sometimes is a friend...
As i say you can't change History.
@@thomasjewell6951 g it was from india and its spelt swastika
Half of the swastika was missing from the starboard side.
First one I've ever seen with Swastika. These were amazing kits , wish I had a time machine to go back and buy them at regular price. Good detail on radio atenna as well.
Except that on the right side, there's only a "swasti." One of the arms is missing!
And that loop behind the canopy is a radio direction finder or RDF.
Nice Kit from the first German jet figther
THE 262! YES!
The circle intena is for the raidio
Congratulations
Amazing.
I have Me-262B-1a
Nightfighter
I'd love to take a closer look at the nightfighter!
Wow ... That's a fantastic assembling kit project ME-262 , at 1/18 scale and so big with this great details and nice paint . I like the camouflage very much . Thank you for sharing this great video , my friend !👍🥇🏆👏👏👏
OMG that’s nice. Several steps above any of the 21st Century planes. Just beautiful.
Um what
Ngl seeing these just remind me of my childhood. When I was younger my dad use to buy me these planes a lot. I only had a few but they were in 1/48. Until one year I was told if I got good grades I would get one of these 1/18 aircrafts which turned out to be a Ju 87 Stuka. He is a model builder which I so happen to carry on those traits and skills. Gosh I miss those days and I been thinking about just buying some for myself to just have those back in my life. Anyways great review, you got a new sub
I bought this model about 15 years ago, and it's right here hanging above my head right now as we speak. It's a great plane, the "White 8" markings as flown my Major Walter Nowotny. As it comes from the maker, the stripe behind the cockpit was found to be too narrow as compared to the real airplane. A company (I don't remember who) made a replacement decal to correct that. I did purchase one and installed it on my model. I just discovered your channel today and love it! I have (9) 1/18 planes in my collection, mostly P-51 Mustangs.
Hi John , How much each of your collection?
‘Gear doors’ ‘mains and nose gear’ ‘gear retraction strut’ ‘ventral antenna’ ‘gun access hatch and strut’ ‘loop antenna’ is the thing you asked about on the spine aft of the canopy. Sliding this rate bird around on the nacelles made me cringe. Drop the gear man! Very cool warbird thanks for demonstrating it to most of us who can’t find it.
"White 8"...the cammo of the tail, the yellow engines...i know this 262. It was flown by major Walter Nowotny, commander of an elite unit called " Kommando Nowotny". He was one of the greatest aces of ww2. He shooted down 258 enemy planes, three of them in this plane. He was shoot down in this plane while he tried to fight against us bombers. Two german aces, Adolf Galland and Georg Peter Eder, both, later, pilots of me 262, and both, aces in that figher, heared him while he was fighting against the enemy. Then, Communications started to be worst....they only understood the voice of Nowotny saying " burning...", and saw the me 262 in flames falling to land. Nowotny tried to escape, but it was impossible. The plane crashed with a great explosion. They only find a burnt hand, and parts of the knights Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds....the rest of the body simply was destroyed by the explosion. You have one of rhe most iconic planes of ww2, and it is really beautiful. Now you know its story and the story of the man who flew an died in it
nowotny's white 8 had the green heart of jg 54 emblazoned on both sides under the cockpit
This was my favorite Unboxing so far. Outstanding video and presentation. Awesome and quality kit. You were correct it is an antenna its the small piece that attaches near the rear undercarriage. The two yellow decals on the engine intakes are the oil type and the fuel type/octane. The loop on the top of the fuselage is also a communication aerial loop.
DF Directional finder Loop for navigation
WOW! My mind is blowed when you said the ice cream truck. because i have one driving down the street right now! Love your videos. I have a few planes, jets and helicopters,
Good vid!
Admiral did a nice job on this-using the same molds as 21st century, the recent merit one and now the hobbyboss kit.
It's sad that a lot of the original moulds got destroyed and will likely be never seen again.
Look after your Spitfires if you have em!
The yellow triangle markings are fuel type warnings...
The Loop behind the cockpit is an DF Loop Antenna designed for use in locating RFI sources.
Nice!
Que avión más bonito. Muchas gracias por enseñarnos lo. Esta guapísimo. Muy buen video y un gran trabajo. Un saludo y un abrazo muy grande. Cuídense.

1:10 I am so happy that came with it they should not be changing history
Amazing model! keep up the good work CR!
Really cool Camo.
AWESOME!!! Very detailed models!!
Lovely replica, although maybe the pilot figure could look a little more realistic 👍
I had a model of this plane when I was a kid in the 60's
WE GOT JETS. Also is it just me who’s kinda glad for the “accuracy” and of course only the “accuracy”. Ps the small ring on the planes back is part of the comms unit
Last radio message of Heinrich Ehrler, pilot of a ME-262, when they attacked a bomber squadron: "Theo, here is Heinrich. I'm out of ammunition. I'm going to ram them. See you in Walhalla!" He did not survive.
Hello I love your videos and I am 1- year's old and I am a big ww2 fan so it's just nice to see these nice ww2 models

Good model ⭐
How do you make your thumb nails, or tips
I have a f104 review but I can’t get the darn thumb nail
That round thing on the fuselage in a directional radio receiver antenna.
@Millitary Vehicle Reviews I'm with you 100% that this ME-262 should have the Nazi Swastika on it, as that is part of history, all be it a very dark part of the past. I feel that it's part of history and should be there's as a reminder for all time so history can learn from the past so that all the horrible things the Nazis did never happen again.
Admiral toys also made a 1/18 scale dauntless and 3 other versions of the me 262
The round antenna is an ADF loop for use with radio direction finding.
Luftwaffe pilot's parachute is ment to be over his arse isn't it? They sit on it in the Me262 same as the Bf109? The seat has a like a deep scoop out it for the chute to sit in nicely and used for a cushion! I've loads of swastikas for my models in decals they would definitely have been going on if they weren't there but that's cool good to see, well you know what I mean on a historical peice that is!
I forgot to mention the yellow triangle's on the nacell's is octane rating of the fuel used in it.
This is correct. U Boat commander.
The manufacturer provided little plastic covers for the wing screws to add realism but then printed "made in China"? Brilliant!
1:07 Actually, I am happy with that! Is not like i will start hating some race because i saw a swastika in a toy or scale model... I don´t have to agree with the ideolgy... Is just about historical accuracy...
Wow this is one of my favorite planes I love this video now:)
Cool. FYI the newer models have the Swastika removed.
Great video. That is a beautiful piece for any collection.
I hate it when a great toy has a really cool feature but it feels like it's gonna break 💔
Where do you get this kind of stuff
You have a particolar wed site for buy the plane?
Do they still make them
Hi, This thing in a circle shape is an antenna , I´m not sure but I can be an radio antenna or for oriantation by radio light houses. Cheers from Brazil.
This is a loop VHS radio frequency finder common on all aircraft of all countries. U Boat commander
Question: how much do these models cost?
Anywhere from $50 to $500. Fairly rare, mainly on ebay.
O ring Shape may be radio attenna。
WOOOOOOOOOOW THiS iS AMAZING!
I WANT MINE! 😍❤️😱🤯
Do you have B 17 flying fortress ?
Excellent model, by the look of it, and thank God the manufacturers have included the swastika on the tailfin as, like it or not, this IS Historically-accurate, and for realism must be included; Tinkering with/falsifying History is a slippery slope, and glad it has not been done, in this case.
Hi i'm from Indonesia
WOW nice Toys man! Where you
buy it?
Where do you buy this toys i want to collect them too

@@MilitaryVehicleReviews You're welcome
2:51 I would find paint to match the color of the underside of that ME-262 to hide that copy right mark and the made in China as that sticks out like a huge zit on a teenagers face...
In Germany the display of the swastika anywhere is legally prohibited, so that is the law there. Elsewhere outside of Germany, the swastika is often deleted from historical toys and products out of sensitivity. I understand the sentiment because of all the horrors and deaths caused by Nazi Germany. Hitler perverted the Sanskrit swastika, which originally represented the, "wheel of life" and was a symbol of good. Hitler reversed the Sanskrit swastika and canted the symbol to depict motion.
Since I am an amateur historian, though, I don't mind a historical toy or product carrying the hated Nazi swastika because I believe history should always be truthfully told and not whitewashed because it is too terrible to behold. A British politician philosopher once remarked that those who will not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

Anybody happy with the little Swastikas on my pfp? It is accurate
