Older fellow like me have a special love for stop motion, we did not have CGI as kids, this peculiar motion is linked to precious childhood memories. Nice work BTW!
I don't even built metal planes and yet I sat here the length of the video and watched it all. Such a wonderful presentation of animation and skill. Wonderful work!
Enchanting. My old man would have loved your videos. Not only was he a model maker, and used to fly model planes via control line back in the day, he served in WWII. He was an engine mechanic for the R.A.A.F, and was seconded to the R.A.F. So while he wouldn't have worked on one of these, he did work on Spitfires, among others. He also worked on the Catalina flying boats, both during and after the war. After the war he was part of the maintenance crew for the Catalinas that flew out of Rose Bay in Sydney for Qantas.
This Is the most beautyful way of Modelling, that I ever seen in my life. It's a miracle in movement. Congratulations for an awesome work, ¡simply miracoulous!
@@amyhogarten5038 Really. My comment was not meant to be criticism. If you build a scale model, would you not want to make it as accurate as you can? Hopefully this is information that Tom can use in his future builds to further advance his already capable skills.
Came out awesome with the exception of one detail. You have the wing tip marker lights backwards. Red goes on the left and green on the right...;) Love that you share this stuff because it would be a cold day in hell that I paid the absurd price for anything Artesania Latina offers!
So much talent goes into making this, and people spent so much on NFT and do not appreciate the amazing work put into making this model. Should worth thousands of dollars
Side note: A properly black prop and spinner on a G where very rare. Almost all used RLM 70 which is a greenish black. The green navigation light is on the right, red is on the left.
Another masterpiece! One day I would love to see a "behind the scenes" of how you create these amazing build/stop motion videos. Thank you for sharing your enormous talent once again!
A saw a lot of Videos of Scale Modells.. But i never saw something like This.. Boaaahhh the stopmotion and the music and then this beautiful piec of history!... Just wow! Thank you so much for the video 🙂
One of the things I find most interesting in this video is how segments show a bare metal piece that shifts in quick stages to painted. Great job on the placement and transition shots. Always impressive.
This is just crazy! Not only the model itself and the assembly of it but you did a stop-motion version! Wikipedia states that 167 BF109G-1 was built between February and June in 1942. On average they produced 8 per week during that period. This assembly took you six weeks.
I am now at the ending of building my Artesania messersmith! and are pleased to say that every part was present, and that it was great fun to build. there were a few small snags! but nothing more than I could handle! I somehow missed a printed asembly guide! instead of the cd rom, as I had no way of playing it. But i used my imagination, and the above stopmotion!! the quality was ecellent, But its a big bird!!, and I cannot yet find a place to put it! and I somehow feel lost! because Im finished! Anyhow It was one of my best Cristmas!
I really like this exposed airframe style of model and am in fact attempting my own scratch build B17f at the moment. But i love your video style. Great job.
Very cool - the wingtip navigation lights are backwards, though. Starboard should be green, and port red. This is the worldwide standard for ships and aircraft.
I think you've the navigation lights reversed on the wing tips. The green light is in the right wing tip and the left wing is equipped with the red light.
I have no words! I've seen all your works, but this one beats them all. The assembly of the pieces, the direction of the video and the music make it a unique film, worthy of an Oscar. Dear Tom, I just dare to say: "keep it up and make us dream". 👍 🔝 😃
Damn you UA-cam algorithm. I am not a model builder but that was beautiful. Now I want one too. Oh wow this kit is ca. 700€ but it looks like it has a great build quality.
