When Jimmy went off with Jeska's Will, it was like a little kid spending their tickets at Chuck E Cheese's, and Josh was the miserable worker behind the counter keeping track of how many tickets the kid has left.
@@apiranha1 He said that he could have kept going, but decided not to. With underworld breach, you also have to exile cards whenever you cast a card from your graveyard, so it wouldnt have been infinite, but he definitely could have kept going.

Was pretty good, but a pretty big missplay from Josh not just doing his Bojuka Bog strat after he saw that he hit Breach from that Commune with Lava. It was still Josh's end step, he could have just done it then before Jimmy had a chance to untap his lands.
Jimmy's journey is, at last, complete. He went from playing mono red and constantly missing landrops, to playing Simic in order to always have them. And now, he has returned to his dear old red, with a splash of green to always have mana alongside the stuff red has for that.
Gotta watch that Jeska’s Will. Now that the Degenerate Pirate has been made to walk the plank, it’s the leading cause of Busted Red Shit (TM). Will never stop resenting the Freebie Cycle. They could have *at least* made Obscuring Haze not negate the user’s combat damage, but no, just a fog no one wanted because Constant Mists is a thing. :(

That might've been him memeing the really stupid Rules committee post about considering banning "Wheel effects" to avoid banning Hullbreacher and some other card one of the main members love.
Hard to say there has been so many great guest (like Brandon Sanderson) but of the recurring guests it's either Ashlen, Prof, or Graham that is my favourite
Aggro ramp monogreen is a beginners strategy that requires very little skill. I thought it was weird to see a deck like that in this group of advanced players.
Not only that, but the power is partially determined by the player. Iv built a stronger deck than my brother, since i had disposible income that could be used on the deck, as my brother couldnt. We had an even winrate with the decks since my brothers a much better player than i am.
Josh's play at 38:24 was some serious big-brain sequencing! Even if it didn't work, you love to see it. Jimmy's response was clever too, and kind of hilarious for being visible on the table.
Ashlen was on a roll for awhile there. Then Jimmy came up at the end and said "hey guys watch all these shenanigans" . That was awesome you guys keep it up. Your channel is so fun to watch, and makes magic even better than it already is.
I loved this episode. The interaction between everyone and the banter made the game a delight to watch. Everyone got to do the things their decks were meant to do! Loved seeing all those decks doing work!
@@brandonhiggs88 I do like them quite a bit. For how I have my main commander deck sleeved eclipse turned out to be the best option. It's mostly because of the triple sleeve not quite fitting in the Dragon shields.
@@reutermo katana leaves lack the overall consistency and quality that dragon shields bring to the table. Katana sleeves are also a nightmare to double sleeve

Here's a throwback. First time I ever saw Josh was on the Profs 4 colour vid all the way back in 2016. Also congratulations to Jimmy. That back and forth with bojuka bog was epic.

Getting back into MTG and the more I watch your videos the more I wonder why I quit! The game just looks so much fun! The fact that the games variables are constantly changing make this game so exciting!
As someone who's usually in Ashlen's role at the table, the threat assessment was on point. If she hadn't been kept in check she would definitely have won.
Ashlen has visible threats even after Jimmy cleared the board. She had a Rampaging Baloths and Burgeoning on the board which could have been big, though unfortunately she didn't have enough lands in her hand to make it impactful enough. Jimmy on the other hand didn't even have a strong board in the first place. Technically the card that won him the game was Commune the lava into Underworld Breach. Only with hindsight will a person even foresee him to win this.
I'm confused with one GamePlay, how can Jimmy replay 5 times jeska's will from underworld's breach, doesn't he have to escape cards for each cast ? He doesn't have 15 cards to exile I believe ?

So accurate! But they also didn't count the tickets correctly. Jimmy should have had 27 red mana at the end of his 5 additional casts of Jeska's will.

If Ashlen had drawn into a few heavy hitters early on, it could've been a very quick game. That Burgeoning start was insane.
Jimmy basically had extra turns on Extra Turns, without an extra turn spell.

He mentions exactly that: he has 15 cards in his graveyard, and that's why he can cast it five times and not more.
