Thank you I appreciate that, if you are going to buy a folding bike in this price range then I would say it is decent but I would watch some bike reviews because competition is crazy and there are better bikes at this price range of $1000, these bikes always are going to have issues regardless of the manufacturer so customer support is critical and Lectric has this down. I have 4000 miles plus on this bike and here are the problems I’ve ran into. The stock seat is not good and suspension not so good, so you need a comfort seat and seat post. The folding pedals are not so good but I’m still using the original. I’ve had 2 displays go out one at 380 miles and one at 2300 miles. The first replacement took a few weeks! The second was only a few days. These were replaced at no cost. The charger stopped working at some point which they replaced within a week at no cost. The brake pads will need to be replaced by 1000 miles, tires lasted almost 4000 miles. I only think their warranty is 1 year other manufacturers I believe are 2 years. The standard battery is only 10.4 amp hours so it doesn’t have great range. Even with all this I am happy with it though. It also depends how often you’re going to ride. I’m glad I bought this bike however if I would have known I would ride this much I would have bought something like the Ecells 5 star bike which is only around $2000. It has everything you need and you can customize your bike. And you can finance, so if you’re serious look into the $2000 range bikes having good suspension, long range, and power is important. I’m not too sure about LA, we’re about 45 minutes from there but in OC if you’re looking for a small town vibe that’s not insanely just a lot expensive, Orange is nice. If you’re into more of a busy going out vibe Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Newport. Costa Mesa is nice too. If you want to be bored Irvine. But it is expensive, very expensive to live here in OC. LA is really expensive but there are some bad areas around skid row where rent is getting cheaper I’ve heard.

What is a good area to live in Los Angeles when it is your first time moving to LA?
