I don't remember to be honest. We tested the wires in order to find them. You can use a site called the12volt com to find vehicle wiring. You should test and verify as well though.
I have an 2000 X5, 4.4i. Can you recommend a really good replacement compatible head unit, amp & sub to fit in place of the factory install that will work with my steering wheel controls. Im not sure if my amp is any good, i think the sub is but, i get terrible radio reception if at all... I can't tell if there's an antenna or not. Please help. I'm in Louisville, Ky.
Sony makes a cool double din that would make installation easier. You'll want to use Axxess for steering wheel controls, I find they work really well for European applications.
I'm having problems with the RCAs. The sub won't work with the RCAs completely plugged in, it does work when i have it kind of at and angle and not all the way in. I am using a PAC LOC and a Rockford P300-1. Any Ideas?
ej8civic16 most likely the rca pin in the center or you have an internal break on your rca wiring. If it's not that the issue is on the other end where the rca plugs in.

Is it possible to upgrade the OEM amp in the 2007 E70 X5? I dont care too much about a subwoofer. But the audio just doesnt get very loud from the stock headunit and amp. I'd like to swap in a higher performance amp.
@@AnthonyJ350 I'm across the country, so I cant look at my car. I just bought a 2007 X5 E70 last Saturday. Is it correct that the tap in, and battery are all in the rear compartments? In other words, all I need to do is draw power off the battery in the trunk, and tie in to preamp on the left hand side of the trunk?

Which exact wires did you use from the stock amp for the RCA's?

Can you tell me which cables you connected the audio signal to to the amplifier? where did you plug into the audio installation in the car.
Grabbed signal from the factory amplifier and fed the signal into the LC2i.

Are you looking for a more "full sound"?
@@AnthonyJ350 I suppose that would be accurate description.
@@JohnHuthmaker Yup, sounds like you need an amp and sub. 600 watt amo with a 10 inch in a sealed enclosure will give you what you want.

Which cable is the remote so I can conect the amp
You have to test and verify for accessory.
Did you use the stock head unit? And if you did what parts did you use in order for it to work?
