Im actually glad they waited this long. They both grown as friends and now as adults accept what they feel is real for each other. It all happened naturally at it’s own time.
I'm glad they didn't immediately try to put them together at the beginning of the revival. We saw little hints in the first season, and then a lot of hints in the second season, leading up to this moment.

One of the beauties of reboots: actually getting to see how GENUINE relationships tend to be. It’s not an overnight thing-it’s an overYEARS thing so we actually get a look at natural progressions of relationships reminding us how they really are like irl instead of expecting everything to just fit in place right away like you usually have to see in shows :)
I realized recently how much the whole “can’t stay together or it’s boring” concept has subconsciously messed with my idea of relationships irl :/
I am so impressed with what they did here. This felt earned, deserved, and genuine. They handled this really well. "Being your friend is not a consolation prize." What a beautiful thing to say!
Honestly, they did the 'friendzone to boyfriend' so right. Freddie saying that he loves being Carly's friend and being upset at how her rejection still hurt him...that feels so REAL. He's doesn't lament being friendzoned because he sees Carly as a full person and not just as potential girlfriend material, so yes he's very happy being friends. But at the same time it still hurts that she doesn't reciprocate. And he's *allowed* to feel hurt about that. This is not what I expected from the iCarly reboot but I am here for it!

A reboot being great like this one even arguably surpassing the original, is very rare.

It breaks my heart to see Jennette McCurdy in those pictures. It’s a little piece of ICarly that no longer exists and it can’t exist because of how toxic it was but it’s still emotional nonetheless. The love that still exists between her and her co stars is really beautiful. I shed a tear when i saw them.

I haven’t read her book yet so idk if she’s ever made a solid decision to never come back under any circumstance. But part of me likes to think she’ll be there for the series finale at their wedding. I feel like that’s pretty much the endgame for this reboot.
Every SINGLE time I watch this, the acting between Nathan, Jerry, and Miranda is so well done. It’s unbelievable🎉🎉

I was a seddie shipper growing up, but for 2 adults that want a mature, healthy, peaceful relationship, creddie makes the most sense. I think it’s true to Sam’s character to have her life’s dream be joining a nomadic biker gang (even more than staying with Freddie), and that’s the opposite of what Freddie (who stayed in Seattle and has a daughter) wants.
Exactly I used to ship seddie so hard. But if they were to get together as adults I think their relationship would have been so toxic not a healthy one at all. While Carly and Freddie as adults represent a loving healthy mature relationship.

Childhood best friends to lovers excellence. This revival only enriched their love story and I’m glad people are seeing how they were truly meant to be. Both of their feelings are now a leveled playing field. Carly will always be the love of Freddie’s life and I’m glad that Carly finally realizes he’s the love of hers. The 5-4 countdown before she kissed him again was EVERYTHING.

This whole scene wow. Brilliantly and emotionally written with meaningful throwbacks to their past and how far they’ve come from when they were kids. They really are meant for each other in every way.
I can feel the chemistry between Carly and Freddy while watching the reboot. It makes me smile when I rewatch the episode when Carly tells Freddy how she really feels after all these years.
Their chemistry and compatibility have always been lit and relatable since their childhood even🥺✨and now it's even better, and mature.
I think I speak for all of us iCarly fans when I say we’ve waited sixteen years for this magical moment to happen, and now that it’s come, it brings everything Carly and Freddie have been through full circle.

The way Freddie asks if this is really happening is so heartfelt because he really was wondering if he actually got his dream girl. As soon as she kissed him, he realized he did. Plus, the way Carly pulled him in harder for the second kiss shows how her feelings for him is now more powerful than Freddie was to Carly in the original show. Talk about Irony. 😂😂

I love how Carly mentions when Freddie named the show after her name, and when she was hit by a taco truck after he saved her life when the whole hero thing wore off that was really beautiful. In regards to Carly not appreciating Freddie...they were teenagers. Most girls don't realize that the right guy for them is right in their front of them. That said, Carly truly valued Freddie's friendship during that time, and over time developed feelings for Freddie. It was only when he was pursuing other girls that she began to see him differnetly.
Nathan’s acting in this episode, especially during those final scenes was EVERYTHING

I still remember that first episode and the goodbye one. Loved everything about this show. All the episodes have such great memories attached to them. This development made me so happy, but I immediately started wondering when they’re going to start the breakup arc for the sake of drama.

Great video, there is nothing like a perfect marriage or relationship, I learnt that in everything there is always a solution, 5 years ago I and my wife divorced because we were having some difficulties in our marriage but we are back together, it was a really bad phase but we got through it.
there is a lot of sense in what you just said and I hope mine works the same way too, we are currently separated but I cant live without her, I love her so much. wish I can get her back I can do anything to have her back, we have tried therapy amongst other things.

It's actually so special that we got to grow up with them. A lot of shows just end with the characters in high school and that's it, so you don't really know if they can make it together as adults, but here we are!

I've basically been waiting for Creddie to happen since the original series, and I was sure I'd be excited when it finally happened, but this was so much better than anticipated! I love everything about this episode; it may be one of my favorite episodes of any show ever. I love how they were both basically crying because it is really emotional when two people who are as close as Carly and Freddie cross into new territory. I love that they finally had a kiss when both of them meant it, and not because one saved the other or they were saying goodbye. This kiss was the start of something, not the end. And I especially love how they didn't drag out this story. I was worried we'd have to wait until the end of the season for them to get together, but since they got together so early, we have basically an entire season to see them date, which is really exciting. This episode was just perfection!

We never realized how we had to see it with an actual natural progression that only aging over the years could make happen 🥺😭💕 just like in some irl love stories, it might be the right person but not the right time and it just would not have made as much sense back then as it does with where they are now 🥰

The show from it where started from 2007 to now, they couldn't build this any better. I never thought we see the day that Carly and Freddie be a official couple. There always meant to be because Freddie was always there for here and Carly was supportive for him. The reboot was the perfect way to revive this two characters and see how they grow from where it ended to now. It took 16 years but it was worth all the wait!! The part when Freddie counts 5-4 and they kiss again was perfect!!

Honestly, I like when shows that run (either continuously or on and off) for so many years have characters grow close and when they end up it feels genuine and well earned.
Also they nailed it, the relatability of that first scene 😂😂😂🙈 it was even an epiphany for me when I realized “omg I do that… they may not actually know” 😳
The cool thing about these shows getting revived is that you get to see storylines you know they'd never tell originally as kids. It's pretty cool.

I know i did I remember I was kid when Freddie saves Carly from the taco truck, and ever since then I've been rooting for them ,and now I'm 20 years old ,and finally these two have accepted their feelings for each other ,and became a couple the only thing left now is them getting married by the end of this show ,and my childhood will be complete # creddie for life 😍😭❤.

In the original series I've always shipped Seddie, however Creddie is clearly meant to be. Also I liked that Sam was in Carly's memory pictures.
