    Coming to question number 3
Mathematically it is fine to understand, that increase in reflux ratio is creating more gap between Equilibrium curve and operating line and helps to achieve the required separation in less trays as per tray drawing concept.
    1. How to understand its significance physically, why do separation becomes easy, when we have high reflux ratio?.
    2. Hope the top column design temperature remains same during design at any reflux ratio selected?

didn't understand the 2nd question but I'll answer the first question
So when there is zero reflux we need a condition where we can make contact of liquid and vapour and can extract all the distillate in one go and for that we need infinite stages that will provide infinite contacts between liquid and vapour so that vapour can have all light key there is. on the other hand if we don't take any distillate at all and there is total reflux condition then it is doing the same thing. Now we have minimum number of stages but the mixture is looping around infinitely and vapour liquid contact is established at with every loop because we are not taking anything out all the overhead is fed back to the tower. So practically if we need to extract distillate but we don't want to have infinite stages or overhead being looped around infinitely we take some out some overhead as distillate and some overhead as fed back to tower as reflux now we don't need infinite stages or infinite looping butttttttt without total reflux and zero reflux the distillate can never be 100% (not even in theory ... not even theory is my opinion btw)

    Coming to question no 7
Can you please explain with example, how exactly dew point and bubble point temperatures helps to estimate the top and bottom column temperatures?
    Thank you.

I think dew point is at the bottom start and bubble point is at the top on the dialogue line y=x

How does diameter of colum affect the number of treys?

Could you please tell me the question number in this video on which you want the clarification

Well there is no response to my query from you. Hence I presume it is not related to the questions in the video and it is a general question. My reply to your question is as follows
Number of trays and column diameter are two different design parameters of tray column. For ex, for distillation process, the number of theoretical stages required to separate a given feed mixture depends on the quality of the feed, feed composition, the degree of split required in terms of distillate and bottom composition, the operating pressure, relative volatility etc. Thr number of NTS does not charge with the feed rate to be processed. Whereas the diameter of the column depends on the feed rate to the column, the vapour and liquid loading, physical and thermodynamic properties of the fluids etc. Hence the diameter does not affect the NTS.

Yes sir, It was not related about your video. It was my personal Dought. This question is being asked by the HR during interview.
Thanks for your reply. It is very helpful for me in future. 👌👌
