This relaxing stroll is one of my favorite that we have done using our Ultra Low Light Camera, and the Polynesian Resort is one of the most relaxing places to stroll at night, so definitely don't miss this one! Ah Josh! Where do I begin with this one?! You not only know your audience incredibly well, but you manage to capture the purest sense of what the magic is and what we all dream about when we visit there. The moments that are indescribable, the memories that last forever. This was simply stunning, visually and technically. Everything flowed so smoothly, almost fluid. When I saw those lights from the castle in the distance at the villas, I just thought, could this guy get any better? But I know, next time, you are going to surprise me again! 🥰 Thank you Josh !

Thank you so much for this beautiful reminder of a place that holds a brief but important place in the history of my little family. Much has changed since we stayed there for a few days in 2004, but much is still the same. Rather like life. And all captured with your nonpareil skill and artistry. The non-copyright musical interlude was wonderfully chosen, also.

This was so great Josh! I love the Poly. Especially at night. It's so beautiful and is usually so quiet and relaxed. One of my favorite things to do is to just walk around at night there by myself, then head to Capt. Cooks for some dinner and a Dole Whip. Great job buddy!

That water is so soothing and relaxing! It is beautiful! I was thinking about staying at the Poly in the future, but now I am totally sold! Love it, I cannot believe people thumbs down on this video, must of been trolls.
Our home resort. Will be there on Jan 18 for 10 days. We so cant wait and hopefully will be able to find Josh and Jenna while we are there.
Watching this again. I forgot to mention earlier that I love the little water taxi boats that ply the Seven Seas Lagoon between the Polynesian Resort, the Magic Kingdom, and the Grand Floridian Resort. Right up there with the beloved monorail (I have not been there since the skyliners began operation, they look nice, too).

Josh, thank you so much for doing another Poly stroll!! We have never been able to afford to stay at any Disney resorts, but the Poly is our favorite to visit. Our favorite thing to do is to get there about an hour or so before the fireworks and sit on the beach and watch them from there. We will be coming in February for my birthday so I'm getting anxious already. LOL. So now all I have to do is watch your video and I will feel like I'm at home!
Great video love how clear and bright the picture is I know you have nothing to do with UA-cam policies but I miss the actual sounds of the people and the background noises don't like their stance on it but you did a good job filling in with the music, thanks for everything.

i don't know there is just something abou the poly more than any other disney resort except for maybe wilderness lodge! it dose a great job of just transporting you to a place and making you forget where you are completely. you did an awesome job the music is perfect for this!

The 4K videos you do at night are always very sharp with little to no grain. What Camera & Lens combo are you using. It Looks Awesome!
We were curious on the same question. We are going to Disney in April, would love to capture low light video like this. Would love to know the camera setup.

I do not know if this is his current rig, but in the recent past, Josh has mentioned using a Sony Alpha A6500 digital camera with a Sigma 16mm f1.4 lens. I believe he also uses a gimbal stabilizer, but I do not know which one. Obviously it is a more robust unit than the one used for the live streaming with a Samsung Galaxy S10 smart phone to handle the larger, heavier camera and lens. I believe he also uses the built-in microphone(s) on the Sony. Anyone feel free to provide corrections.

I also use a Tascam X-Y Mic for the Audio.
The Polynesian is beautiful! I like the Tuvalu longhouse which has a nice lagoon view. Fun fact, one of Tuvalu's largest sources of income is from the .tv domain

What camera did he use? I'm sure he's probably said before. I don't remember. It and Josh did a great job. The Polynesian at night really is magical. We have finally on our next trip signed up to do the Spirit of Aloha show, we have never done that before. Happy New Year!

These are always my favorite of yours Josh! Just wondering, and I'm not implying that it's not as good as it could be because I just really don't know, but have you tried the 4K video with just 30fps? I know that 60 offers a big jump in smoothness, but just didn't know if maybe you could let in more light with less exposure noise at that frame rate. A professional I am not, just a novice hobbyist, so maybe the gains aren't worth it to lose the buttery 60 fps. Either way I'm still perfectly happy to have these, still the best quality WDW stuff on UA-cam. Great job Josh!
Hello! I actually shot this video in 4K 24fps to let in as much light as possible. You are correct that lower framerate allows more light.
