Great game plan for your second horse almost a minute faster. I wish I was your age again, I was fearless then. My first show horse was a grandson of Two Eyed Jack I trained myself. We did absolutely everything together. He lived to be 30 yrs old. Awesome horses.

I love this trail competition! Thank you Amry for taking us along on your adventures. Poppy looked like she was flying on the course! Unfortunately, Summer wasn't liking that gate at all. I'm sorry that you didn't get to do the all around, but you know better than anyone whether a horse is ready for a particular event. Crossing my fingers for next year! Great job!!! Hard core competition for sure, poppy was booking on the trail 👏🏻 and Summer got a good time on barrels and she was so close on sorting, both horses were amazing and they had an amazing jockey 🏇, love watching your videos please keep them coming ❤❤❤

I can say that you are. One heck of a rider and one heck of a trainer. Your horses are really well trained and i'm very impressed. If I could afford it, I would love to have a horse that you trained.. I would say that. You should make videos to show people how you train horses.. Any horse that turns out like that. It just doesn't get any better and you're doing it with multiple horses. You need to come up with a freeze brand. That shows that you trained that horse. Those horses are gonna be in big demand.

Gotta say something else. We’ve always been taught and feel the worse wrecks have something to do with a gate. This course was quite a challenge😱

How yall train the horses for this?are they ranch horses?
Thank you! Horses need to be exposed to a lot to handle this day well and be successful! Ranch horses usually do good in the HPI ☺️
What was the time limit for sorting? It didn't seem very long.
The time limit was 2 minutes... not very long but they have to have a cut off with so many entries ☺️
GREAT JOB... on BOTH of the Pony's but at the GATE is where you made up time on POPPY.... IMO

hey quick question about the team roping (even though I know you didn't do it in this video), but do you have to have a partner already? Also is it just one steer or like a jackpot? Btw Thank you for these videos! I bought a yearling in 22 so ill be there in a couple years!
Hi! Yes for this team roping you already have a partner. You have to pick your partner in advance because the same partner can't rope with 3 or more people. This is a 2 head average (so jackpot style) - if you are a #5 roper and lower then you get 3 head and get to take the fastest 2 times. If you are over a #5 roper then you only get the 2 head. That's how they make it fair for number differences. How exciting! See you out there in a couple years ☺️

Butters is pretty cool and would have done awesome - unfortunately he is not eligible for the HPI - only 4-6 year old horses by Pitzer Studs can compete
