I added extra hay in her hay feeder and litter box but just didn’t show it xx. Always make sure your bunny has unlimited hay in their litter box (hay feeder aren’t always the best so I recommend filling the litter box with hay)
Dumbo is so handsome! Just wanted to suggest buying pelletized pine litter either from a feed store (about $6 for 40 lbs) or from a pet store in the cat litter section (about $12 for 20-25 lbs). Pelleted pine litter is completely safe as it is kiln dried and I find that it keeps the urine smell down MUCH better than paper based litter. Some brands I suggest from Petsmart are Feline Pine or Exquisicat and I only need to change the litter box every 3rd day or so.
I should definitely try that(: can you tell how how much the peed on the litter? I just like to use the bedding so I can track how much she is using the restroom 😅
overall a really good video I really liked it and I agree to almost all of the points but you don’t really need to change the litter box so often i usually change mine once a day, it’s just unnecessary and will add up that bedding money 💰
If you use wood pine pellets as a layer between the puppy pad on the bottom and the soft bedding like Carefresh on top you dont have to change your litter box nearly as much. I only have to change it once every 4 days or so. I sprinkle some Carefresh over my bunnies poops in the evening and that is it. BTW you are using and spending way too much on Carefresh. Mine lasts me way way longer.
I am getting a bun bun next week and this really helps. Bit sadly i cant adopt cause the place i live they dont have any adoption rescue shelters so i will get it from a pet shop near my house
How exciting ! Getting a bunny was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made😊. If you could try not to get one from a pet store because they are more prone to be sick rather than getting from a breeder. I got my second rabbit from a pet store and he had a really bad respiratory infection and sadly passed a week later. If you could buy from a breeder that you can trust I would most definitely recommend that😊. Just make sure your bun bun is nice and healthy when you bring him/her home 🐰💜

@@ArielaGonzales NO NO NO! Pine litter is AWFUL for rabbits/bunnies and it does smell way way worse, please dont do that to your bunny.
@Clara Evans pine bedding is awful, it is bad for your rabbit to digest
