Even though I sat here and WATCHED YOU DO IT, I just cannot believe how beautifully this turned out. It simultaneously looks like a map of the beach; the beach, itself; a shell you’d find on the beach; the lacy petals of a Georgia OKeefe flower; and the cosmic birth of all things. You sure know how to create drama, Luise.
Oooh my!!! This is such a gorgeous set of pages. The depth on the edges you achieved looks like I can touch it….incredible! Thanks for sharing all these ideas how to use this new fun product! 🥰
Wow, Luisa! You always do Tim Holtz products so proud! Fun and beautiful, too! I'm sure you'll find even more amazing ways to use the new Spritz! Thanks for sharing, girl! Hugs! Sue 😊❤
You have created a beautiful work of art with this spread. I love the ‘waves’. The new products leave a lovely effect on the other products. Thank for sharing.
Oh my gosh ! It’s absolutely gorgeous! Well done, You’re right that you can just watch it for hours. If you do a wall in your apartment I hope you take us along❤
This is a completely fascinating piece Luise! I can’t believe how much texture and depth you created with texture paste and the new spritz. Your artistic eye is a truly beautiful thing. 🤗🇨🇦🤗
I love watching a great creator play around with a product first. Especially if the manufacturer has already done a product info video. Especially because you will undoubtedly find new things to do with it 😁
All hail the mixed media queen Louise Heinzel!! This is amazing!!! Love the texture paste. I think if you did this on a wall you could use drywall paste or a hole filler. This would look so beautiful on a wall! Thank you for sharing. You are always an inspiration ❤❤❤
Oh I absolutely love this page spread and the techniques you used. It is fabulous! I love the subleness of the spritz sprays and the way you did the shading of the waves. Brilliant!
Wow, I love this Luise, it is so interesting with all the layers and subtle details! I love your little story as well, makes perfect sense to me! Beautiful and you do every product justice!💕🇨🇦
This is SO beautiful, Luise! At first glance I thought the waves were made from layers of watercolor paper. As usual you did the unexpected with a fabulous result. I love the new spritz, it is a marvelous addition to the distress line. ❤❤
Simply stunning! I have to say that every time I think I wouldn't use the latest TH product or stamp set, you have totally changed my mind! I watched Tim's video today before seeing your video. Yes, these spritzes are definitely in my near future! Lol I love watching your process. So cool and interesting! ❤
As you were painting this I started seeing lichen that grows on our trees when the are dead or dying. This is amazing looking Luise are. You sure you weren’t a teacher in a different life you’re so good at it.
Ugh... I haven't even got all of the Stains & Oxide Sprays I want yet. Now THIS?! A new, exciting Spritz?? My desires & my pocketbook are in conflict.😂 This technique is so cool, Luise! Even if I can't get any Spritzes for a while, I have the perfect project and enough supplies to give it a try.😉 I love "process" videos! Ty for bringing us along.💗💗💗
I just loved this layout - my favourite one of your videos so far!! I'm making a journal cover from a padded envelope, inspired by this sequence of your creations.
I didn't have an envelope like yours, so I'm using an A3 Amazon padded envelope, covered in a collage of various large sized font black text on white background, mostly logos from fashion companies, cut from fashion magazines
This is amazing in every way imaginable! I watched with such fascination as your page came to life. I don't know anything about mixed media but you explained everything so beautifully. Thank you for sharing with us. 🤩
Hi Louise, as a cheap substitute for modeling paste for my students I use household "no more gaps" it works brilliantly. No more gaps does exactly what it says (fills gaps and cracks) but is also slightly flexible so it doesn't crack. It is compatible with acrylic paint. In NZ it is about $8 a tube, So instead of using the expensive modeling paste, this would work for your bathroom ❤❤❤
Beautiful!!! I remember your past beachy foamy bubbles scene which was awesome but on screen this looks so dimensional and realistic. I want to reach out and touch it. Wowza. Thanks for the tip on using black shading. I have been using the color bark, and it does look much better. TFS ❤Nebraska
If. I hadn’t watched the process myself I would have thought that the waves were actually separate pieces of paper rather than built up with mediums and colour/spritz. Love that you decided to try something out of the box that showed us that this new product can do
Love this! Can't wait to get some TH Spritz! You asked about texture paste for walls? I make my own for art and I'm sure it would work well on walls although you could play with the type of glue you choose to use. I use the brand Dap Dry-Dex Heavyweight Spackling, mixed 1:1 with white glue. I've mainly used Elmer's Craft Bond but white wood glue would also work. On various projects it has held up well and dries very solid without flaking or cracking. The nice thing is the ingredients are CHEAP so you can play play play! If you do a project, I'd love to see it! ❤
Watched Tim's intro to the product and thought hmmm do I need this when Ive just bought all the other new stuff.... came straight to your video and as I watched ordered some lol Fabulous piece of art love hearing your thought process as you go along ❤
Amazing technique. Funny thing, just before I found this video I had ordered the bundle of all the spritzes from Ranger. I am going to try to make a spread like yours as I love the oceans.
Wish we could see it as it looks irl. Just FYI, if you want to show shimmer or sparkle without lifting something up & moving it side to side, use the light on your phone from the side & that tends to show it really well
I love seeing shimmer and glitter, but I do not work with it. I hate working with it. I was so excited for the new product and saw shimmer and was very upset. I watched most of the live and the demos and considered maybe one or two colors, but then I changed my mind and said I don’t use shimmer. Just a couple of minutes into your video and seeing the grunge with the shimmer. Oh yeah, I ordered the set. Oh and this image!!!!!! Be still my heart it’s so beautiful. 💚🖤💚😍🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
when I saw the photo on Instagram I couldn't figure out how you could close the pages, it looked sooo dimensional... I ordered 2 of the colors so I can spritz my latest obsession: wet cyanotype.. can't wait till it gets here
Really cool. After texture paste has dried, can you bend the page in the middle of the paste without it cracking or falling off? It reminds me of drywall spackle and that couldn't bend.
Beautiful Louise🥰 - just watched Tim video. Question: can you use Distress Spritz colors to make it look like rust? - using orange, brown or I dont know, thats why I'm asking the expert. 😉Thank you for sharing this video. I need to buy some🙏🏼
I accidentally discovered your channel and I am so glad I did! This is one of the most beautiful creations I have ever seen. You are a true artist.
Thank you so much ❤️

Absolutely... perfectly said, and I totally agree. Thank you.

An incredibly beautiful piece of artwork Luise. I can imagine this masterpiece done large scale on a studio wall!!! Brilliant🤩 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Jaw dropping beautiful! The dimension, the colors, the artistry…just beautiful! I love learning from you😄
For me, this is one of your best pieces ever. I love that the rough, organic shapes contrast so perfectly with the shimmer. Genius!
You have created a beautiful work of art with this spread. I love the ‘waves’. The new products leave a lovely effect on the other products. Thank for sharing.
The 3D effect of this piece is incredible. Luise, your creative flow is such a pleasure to watch.
Rolling waves and beach vibes! I enjoyed watching you do this today! Not speeding thru! Just gorgeous!!!❤❤❤
This is so freaking cool. Love it. Looks so real and jumps off the page. Gorgeous job Luise
WOW... simply amazing... WOW!!!

ph wow Luise; this is brilliant !! You are a master with your techniques.....💜🧡❤
Oh my goodness Luise. That effect with the texture paste alone is amazing!!! And I love the background & I’m only 1/3 of the way through.
I came here directly after Tim’s LIVE. I wish I could go to the beach now!! This is beautiful.
Wow! I love this technique and the story you created about the couple. ❤
Luise this piece is amazing. I can't wait to see what you do on your bathroom walls.
Beautiful, Luise! I love this spread so much. I'm waiting impatiently for my spritzes to get here so I can spray everything!

I came here immediately after the live too. I couldn’t wait to see what you would do. You’re my favorite!
Very very inspiring. I love the way you just put the mediums on and see what will happen!
This is SO beautiful, Luise! At first glance I thought the waves were made from layers of watercolor paper. As usual you did the unexpected with a fabulous result. I love the new spritz, it is a marvelous addition to the distress line. ❤❤

Thank you so much... Well, I was a preschool teacher in my life before UA-cam 😂 but I guess, that's not really the same thing hehe
Just ordered this set of distress spritz! this is absolutely marvelous!
Ugh... I haven't even got all of the Stains & Oxide Sprays I want yet. Now THIS?! A new, exciting Spritz??

Gorgeous Luise❤❤❤
Gorgeous result. Very organic looking.

Great product great price got all colors so much shine, seal it tho
❤❤❤

Thanks for the great tip!
Spackling works on walls with spatula like texture paste.
Oh my gosh, this is stunning! What a great idea to duplicate it on a wall. Wonder if it could be done with spackle for the texture? 🤔
Yes, I thought about that
I love seeing shimmer and glitter, but I do not work with it. I hate working with it. I was so excited for the new product and saw shimmer and was very upset. Well, it's not that thick. First I also thought it would be hard to close the journal, but it works wonderfully 😏😀
You made it look so real that it jumps out of the page... your shadow wotk is amazing! @luiseheinzl
Really cool. After texture paste has dried, can you bend the page in the middle of the paste without it cracking or falling off? It reminds me of drywall spackle and that couldn't bend.
Yes, you can. I applied the paste thinner there where the middle is, but the paste is very flexible when dry, so no problem with that.
Beautiful Louise🥰 - just watched Tim video. Question: can you use Distress Spritz colors to make it look like rust? - using orange, brown or I dont know, thats why I'm asking the expert. 😉Thank you for sharing this video. I need to buy some🙏🏼
That's definetely a genius idea, have to try that out! Rust with shimmer... Oh my gosh!
@@luiseheinzl 👍🏼
What was the tool you used to add the shadows? Any ideas where I could find the same thing? I love this layout!
It's a blending stump. I think I have mine from Amazon.
