I had wondered that, too. I know Native Americans did something very similar. Most likely because it was easy to obtain, and clean. It's amazing how having a baby is both the same and different. what an amazing documentary. I so enjoyed watching that. It makes me happy to know that there are people like this in the world still.
I'll never complain again.. this is truly amazing.
These beautiful people are amazing.
Huge respect to these folks who survive and thrive in that environment. I am 100% certain that I would die. I'm way too soft and not ashamed to admit it either 😂
This is incredible. Such harsh conditions, and they still choose to live this way!
Yes. Fascinating to watch. But, even I got cold. The fact they tire of sitting in their chums and venture out in the blizzard to play is something to behold. And, here I think, being dressed warmly when it's 30's and blowing is cause to hibernate in the house.
Impressive and breathtaking!
But I'm not sure how much of a choice most of those people have. I think it's that type of society where you live for the community, not for individual fulfillment.
You can't just leave...
Omg these are some tough people! Nothing is easy for them! Respect!
I hate winter so much I couldn’t live there ,my respect for this people
Me to. I would freeze to death the 1st day.
So cold God bless you from California USA
Amazing video as usual! Great sadness about the boys and the lady who lost their life. Admiration and emotion in watching this people!! Thank you for sharing another awesome video❤💚💙
Amazing humble humans! We could all learn from them for sure.
May we never take for granted how blessed we are. I cried watching this video, even though I admire their survival skills I can’t imagine staying there without planning a way out.
Just wow ... sadden by the loss of life. Thank you for posting these videos.
Amazing series of videos. The nomads are a truly remarkable people. Love of family, care of animals...beautiful to see.
They truly are amazing people. Really admire & respect to still keeping their traditional way of living in the harsh weather condition & basically taking care of everything manually. My Goodness I dont think I have the strength & wont be survive even a minute or two. They are the real survivors, thank you so very much for sharing, ❤
Thanks to the cameraman for capturing these shots. Thanks for the English subtitles. I enjoy watching your channel because of the shots & the explanation in the English language. Please do not leave your culture & tradition but continue to maintain it.
Huge respect for these marvelous people ❤
Amazing! What strength these people have! God bless them
So amazing to see the ancient way of life, with a tiny bit of the modern world added. Movies, for instance. Such a harsh existence. Such incredible fortitude these people have.
They are all beautiful, gorgeous amazing adorable, magnificent animals.
Humans are tenacious survivalists. These people are tough and inventive. I admire and respect them . Im so sorry the three boys passed way and the woman who went out at night. Tough life.
I’m glad I found a video addressing this. Because I had so many questions and this was one of them!
Very interesting! I did not know about this life style. Thank you for sharing.
So sacred and beautiful! Thanks for sharing!!
These nomads are amazing. They are so tough and resilient and their love for their families way of life and animals is wonderful. As harsh as their lives can be they all look happy and healthy. Their ancestors have survived in these conditions for hundreds of thousands of years and they will still be living traditional lives for a long time yet.
Amazing that these people have built a life in an environment that most people these days would die from. And yes, I get that it’s from generations of learning from tradition… but it doesn’t make it any less amazing.
Incredibly harsh conditions to survive in. Amazing footage.

SÜSSES BABY
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👍🇩🇪
Wow! I absolutely love these videos. So interesting to see how they get going in such harsh conditions!
Btw, happy reindeers are SO DARN CUUUUUTE 😍
Such strength, fortitude and daily challenges, particularly in such extended blizzard conditions. What a tragedy that the young boys lost their lives. Just heartbreak. But also such beauty.
Amazing how they continue when for most ..these conditions would be seen as being incompatible with life. Truly a fantastic example of human dexterity ..a wonderful share 😊
What a place to live, they really know what survival means
Thanks to PATRUSHEVS for sharing this lifestyle video with us Westerners. Otherwise, this is a history that one day might become lost. I'm sharing this video with my kids and my grands so they too will see what instenstive labor is. Your videos are keeping history alive...hopefully your culture will survive as well.
I feel like I’ve found a time machine. What an incredible channel. ❤❤❤
amazing, resilient and ingenious people.
What an amazing life, albeit difficult in more ways than I can count. I know I could not do this. Such strength, stamina, determination, and love of each other.
I have heard that some who have tried living in warmer climates found themselves yearning to go back because they were more comfortable back home. Some struggled to sleep at night because it was too warm and uncomfortable. To each its own.
Speechless at the beauty, the harsh cruel beauty of the environment. The young mother - omg so so beautiful. This glimpse of their lives only help me understand how mich i dont know and how comfortable i am - but not always in a good way - usa
Thank you for showing us this way of life.
I am so in awe over how you live because it looks like what what my mother described to me about some of our favorite things
The sounds of the firewood crackling and the wind and snow, the knives against the wood cutting the meat, are so calming.
I love all the sounds of the storm🥰
I respect these people and am fascinated to see this video and learn other cultures, but damn, feel so bad regarding their struggles and that cold they deal with.
It's amazing what people do to survive in such a harsh climate and eating blood and raw meat ugh i wonder if they would ever go somewhere not as harsh I admire their tenacity to work so hard
She has a cradleboard!!! Some First Nations in Canada also use this technology, and I think moss is the traditional diaper inside! Dried moss has wonderful properties. You see many beautiful and diverse styles of cradleboard in different Nations. I loved seeing very similar technology in use here. It seemed to have a cradle like ability to rock too. What a great way to keep her baby safe while she does things. Thanks for sharing and please give our best to this family and thanks for sharing their life. I'm so glad they're looking after their reindeer. Caribou (what we call reindeer here) are very endangered in Canada because the government keeps encroaching on their land.
I have only one word… amazing!
Their life is so much harder than anywhere I have lived. Even in our Winters we are sheltered from the cold in our homes with our heat. God blessed them.
I feel so bad for the three kids who didn't make it.
I also feel bad for their parents. Can you imagine what it's like ...?
Excellent footage. what harsh conditions. It’s really terrifying. I would have such an issue with not having the daily shower of bath. Amazing people
Son ADMIRABLES estas personas
AAAWWH !! HOW LOVELY I FELT WARM WATCGING THE FAMILY . HOW SPOILT WE ARE THIS PART OF THE WORLD !! THANK YOU FROM U.K. (2023).

I really love the the videography. No unnecessary talking or distracting music. ❤
1:46 That dog trying to play with that reindeer! 😊 God, I love this channel. 🇺🇸
Thank you so much for this testimony to the will to survive.
