Alfred Adler the psychologist said that one of our most pressing needs as humans is to find a place to belong. And, to feel that we contribute something to society. The baby nails those.
Baby girl fully understands her living environment. She knows what is required and takes the initiative to help out. She is physically stronger than the teenagers who live in modern cities
Over generalization leads to misconceptions and preventable disasters. Some of those teens in cities are already murderers and violent offenders. I believe you are confused with middle class and upper-class teens who live life of pampered sheltered privilege.
Aww, this baby can't be older than 2, and is carrying loads, and carefully feeding the dogs😂. We gotta step it up. No smart phones in sight, and great for them!
If not for UA-cam, I would not know you exist. Now that I do and see you, I wish you health and a prosper future in the course of time, for young and old.
This 2 year old has so much personality. And she’s being raised by attentive, respectful parents. Bravo to great parent teachers- Allowing a child to be free to explore and learn while providing everything she needs to grow up.
I think it’s quite a stretch to say the child has been provided with everything they need to grow up. Some modern cleanliness standards and healthcare would definitely help.
@@susanlewis9351really. Babies need to be more robust in Siberia, but it seems you’re just trying to be nasty. Yes she looks very chubby but most children in Siberia have big round cheeks. It is the face shape of most siberians.
Such a helpful baby. And so chubby! I’m just about to have my fifth. And one thing I’ve noticed with all my children is right around a year they suddenly become very interested in what I’m doing and try to involve themselves in some way. Usually this manifests itself as them crawling into my pile as I’m sweeping and scattering it with their hands. And then when they can walk,, they notice the trash and start trying to throw everything away. It was fall when my oldest hit this stage, and instead of blocking him from the trash or discouraging it I decided to show him the things that he COULD throw away, mainly all the leaves he was tracking in. After, my house had never been so clean. He was so diligent! Of course he would still make mistakes and throw the wrong thing away. But instead of getting upset about it, I would calmly take it out and show him what he could throw away instead. Another thing I’ve noticed with all my children is that if I give them a holiday and let them play all day by the time it’s lunch they’re grumpy. I have to give them something productive to do to improve their mood.
Hi And although that baby was constantly around fires and even throwing sticks on them, her mother didn’t seem concerned about her safety, knowing the baby girl would only do what she saw her mother do! 😮We need that kind of closeness with our toddlers and kids! I don’t think she will be a ‘Rebellious teenager doing drugs’😮
My parents grew up poor in Mississippi. I asked them about growing up in The Depression they said they were so poor it wasnt noticeable. Life was like this for my grandma when I was little. She got her first indoor bathroom in 1986. When you work all day to eat and stay alive the kids happily help. I find it peaceful. It is a lot of hard work to live off the land.
I lived in this exact environment as a toddler (my people being of the Nenets tribe) and seeing pictures of myself from that time (taken by Russian father), I was cute and chubby-cheeked like this adorable baby lol. Thank you for posting this amazing and sweet video.
I am Finnish American now but I had chubby cheeks like hers too. I still have them. Uhg. LoL I have slanted eyes. I've been asked if I was Asian a few times
The ONLY peace in each of our lives is knowing the Savior of the universe : Jesus the Christ. He will change your heart, and give you peace. They have more peace than most people with the kids hooked up to a computer or a TV. Learning and bonding with mom, learning skills, in nature learning how to live off the land, truly a lovely experience. You can tell how well the mom teaches her, she’s an amazing little kid with great balance.

@mariainezandrade3932 Exactly. Snd it's completely misunderstanding what humans are, what they are capable of, how they long to participate, to play their useful role in their group...
When you don't have to work to survive, a lot of enjoyment for life is missing. Nothing like this, but we boondock (camp with no amenities). Even those few weeks bond us, because we depend on others for basic needs and small achievements bring great pride. I remember my 4yo granddaughter working all day to start the fire. Flint & steel. When she succeeded, her self worth & her feelings of family unity grew by leaps and bounds. As I said, it's nothing like them, because if things went wrong, we could hike 10 miles to the vehicle and drive away.
@@UnscrupulousAgitator Western societies aren't without work. It's just not work that children can learn. And there's a prevailing belief that "kids should be kids," in other words, that they should be free to just play without responsibilities. Then we wonder why we get young adults who aren't prepared for work, don't fee responsible for contributing, don't have a sense of intrinsic worth, and resent adult direction.
This is why I try my best to let my 2 year old help around the house. They are so eager to help at that age and might even surprise you with their abilities. Its also good for them physically and mentally!
I came to understand how huge my country Russia is, how huge Siberia is in it.. Understanding how many indigenous peoples live in Siberia and they do not want to change their life, their culture.. they want to live the way their ancestors lived. I am also from Siberia, but I live modernly, in a huge city (the capital is Novosibirsk) and I have all the conditions for life. But I am very interested in how other people living in my country, in other Siberian places, live.
People regularly dont want to change for something they don't know. As in this case, parents are not going to try to teach the upbringing of their children for new fancy upbringing because then they couldn't live the natural kind of life they have live for centuries and obviously they are doing well. Look the 2 years old, she already can do so much and obviously she knows what to do perfectly, like feeding the dogs and the dog is fully aware that the two years old feeds them... The children are so beautiful, healthy and smart. God bless them all.
@@lsophial Yes, I was very amazed at what a girl does at her age. Whereas our city children, from whom their parents “blow away specks of dust,” do not know how to do anything except sit on gadgets.

I am so in awe of you and your family the way you bring up your children the hard work that you share with them and do daily. I have everything in hand and I feel so guilty when I look around and complain that I have nothing. I have learned this from watching your family. Thank you so much by humbling me enough to make me realize having too much is a sin
En effet cette façon d’être uni à la terre mere est aussi difficile qu’admirable pour nous, devenus si fragiles par l’abondance et le confort dans lequel nous baignons
Having too much isn't a sin 😊. It's just about good stewardship and whether or not something becomes an idol or distraction. The more you have, the more you are responsible for taking proper care of.
It can be a sin when we become wasteful. Ever seen or hear George Carlin skit on stuff? We become addicted to consuming. I remember a few years back, seeing a montage of different newscasters all repeating the exact thing on cyber Monday saying "Go ahead, it's okay to get yourself a little something. You've earned it."
because they’re raised outside then privilege and unnecessary sheltering of Western society and are taught from a young age that work is something important and necessary in order to survive, not something your mom forces you to do instead of playing video games
Or most adults these days. Here it is just sit in front of your TV and play videos games. I have a granddaughter who until she was 19, her only chore was to get the silverware out of the dishwasher and put them in the drawer. She is now 25 and will not do a single thing for anyone except herself and her boy friend. She has been in college for 8 years because she can't even decide what she wants to be and keeps changing courses and starting over. This is what we raise in the USA.
I KNOW LOL. I'm in awe. Then the dog walks right next to her - almost guiding her. Now I regret giving my children an allowance, for pulling their quilts over their beds. Lol
Look at the control of the dog . There is a basin full of food and it will not eat it, only if a human puts something in to its bowl. It will eat only that od uf it is given from a human hand.
It looks beautiful there, clean and pristine although I cannot imagine how cold it is. A full life of adventure for a child and you can tell Katya is loved and cared for. Thank you for sharing this way of life with us. Blessings to the family.❤❤❤
In the middle of this video an ad pops up - “choose from thousands of electronics”…. It was a relief to return to this film. How sad our consumerism lives have become.

Simple living but the best life in the world. All the time, you feel harmonious in every part of your body. 🌲☀️❄️ Greetings from northernmost of Sweden🇸🇪
they dont feel extra harmonious, they just live, everyday same. I had this live as child. To live in and with nature is necessary for good live. Everybody can decide. Why live in cities?
@@faragraf9380 You can never know what other people are feeling (or their sensory experience), so a more cautious way of expressing yourself is correct. I myself have lived both in cities and on the countryside (years in the forest of northernmost Sweden, in a tent), so I know very well what I am talking about (see my first post).
I remember being 6 and going with my grandfather to harvest honey. My job was to bring dry wood to make smoke, cover the box with the honey combs and if a knife or something fell in to a place my grandfathers hand (his left hand got amputated during war , when he was a vhild in 1943) couldn't reach in to , l had to take it out. I also was suppose to help pushing the cart my grandfather was pulling and watch if nothing was falling off.
She is not struggling, the kids learn trough example she is mom little shadow, and mom is there to show her and explain, that's how they learn, with someone willing to notice them and teaching. I work as a nanny, the 6 month baby smile every time she sees me, I'm in charge of her older sis , but I interact with the little one too, the parents bought like a pen with soft floor and toys , she is standing on her crib complaining while her father is doing something with the tv , I asked do you want me to put her there, his answer oh she doesn't like being there, no stupid, what she doesn't like is every time you put her there alone, or with you but you act like she isn't there, no talking,no holding her a little,no playing and show her things. Nothing, mom fortunately gives her more attention, but sometimes she is laying on the bed and the baby is suckling from her breast like she was a puppy, trying to hold on in 4 legs trying to eat, not holding the baby nursing her while talking to her making eye contact 🤦🏻♀️,
Humanity will survive. Society will fall as it always has. What we believe to be difficult in living in harmony, also means less confusion, less dis ease, and greater understanding of basic purpose. Thanks for sharing this. It’s a great reminder.
That hand washing station at 0:43 is genius, I would never have thought of it, never seen it, super convenient just strapping it to a tree, most of the ones I see include foot pumps and a stand of their own
It's a super popular device for Russian/post-Soviet villages. I'm not sure if they're still of great use but about 30 years ago it was still quite a thing even at "dachas":)
They're living the lives that we are far removed from, and I think there's is a much healthier existance than city slickers such as me 😊 I hope these kinds of people are around forever just like the First Nations people here in Australia who still live the same ways as their ancestors did. ❤
Healthier... Psychologically, sure, but apart from that, inhaling open wood fire smoke all day long + living in extreme cold conditions cannot be good for your lungs at all. Meat-based diet, no choice, not good either. I don't think life expectancy is high in such settings, but it is a life full of meaning.
@blahblahblah-o4z don't feel bad mate, a lot of Australians are unaware of it, these mobs speak no English and their kids don't go to schools, their school is the ancestors way of living and that fine with me bc I believe that should be their right as they were doing just fine, for 65 thousand years, until the English decided to classify this country as Terra Nullis! Had a white Kiwi from Queensland tell (whine) to me about it, so I decided to put her straight 😂😂😂🇦🇺....I was born in Europe and I've educated myself as much as possible on the black fella since our education system has sadly lacked in that department!
If you want to know where "native Americans" came from, this is where- the Siberian nomad tribes such as this one, of the north. An ancient land bridge, now long gone, made it possible for them to walk all the way to North America. So it's been said.
That child is more intelligent and more motivated than most of the people in the United States. She doesn't have to be told what to do. She sees what is needed and does it. The life is hard but i think that they enjoy life more than most people. No phone no computer no car . Only what they need. This is family real life family. Thanks for sharing your life with everyone.
Its so obvious they're related to the Natives of North America. During the last Ice Age there was a bridge connecting these continents. That brave baby here moved me to tears.
I think natives of North America came from Asia not Russia/Siberia. At least that is what the Navaho's told me when I lived with them for 7 years. Best wishes from upstate NY!!
@sierrachoco5271 They are related. Though the ones on this side also had the Polynesian addition. In fact if the Native American don't look more Asian like this folk they are probably not that Indigenous.
Wow what an amazing thing to see. This child will have no problem surviving. This is definitely better than giving your child an IPad to keep them occupied. I’m so inspired
So far i see a normal two year old. Cute as can be who wants to do what she sees everyone else in her family doing. Two year olds are much smarter than many adults think they are and can do a lot more than many adults give them credit. It is up to the parents (which obviously hers have), however, to instill a sense of contributjng to the "work" culture of the family. If parents expect it, children this age will work to the extent they are able to. Americans also used to do this (like any culture, western or otherwise) but that has changed with the softening of our lives. As a mother of two little ones myself, i plan on putting a pearing knife in my childs hand starting at the age of 4 or 5 depending in their maturity and put them to work helping me skin apples or potatoes for supper. Thus is what my mother did to me and i loved it as a child. Now i did cut myself the first time i held a knife but i learned how not to do that pretty fast. I love how the mother in this video encourages her child trying to pick up and carry the bigger pieces of wood. That is exactly what a parent should be doing.
I just keep thinking about this child and the beautiful way that she is growing up. Even though we live in America, I tried to raise my daughter a lot like this, with autonomy and the belief that life itself was a wonderful school. I believe this served her well. Maybe this is why I am so incredibly taken with this little girl from the other side of the world.
La bebé se comunica muy bien y es muy expresiva, además parece que ladra cuando quiere decir algo con fuerza, me impresiona...es hermosa y será fuerte en todos los sentidos ❤ una vida ardua y posiblemente dura, pero libre y hermosa!!
It is extremely healthy for this baby to have a healthy family life, fresh air and plenty of tasks to keep her fit! This is a much better life than my family has with having to have others watch our precious children while we have to work for cooperations all day.
Well, in Western civilization, if we would allow our children to do these things, the government would take them from us. What the world needs is balance. A gentle protective hand while still allowing our children to be independent and explore. We need to get the governments out of our lives
Here in the UK they over protect children, but our government appears to not care about them being abused and raped by grooming gangs, sick world or what?
This is what toddlers instinctively try to do. They copy everything from their parents. My son wants to do everything I do. Cooking, fishing, working with tools, cleaning, gardening, feeding animals. He does everything. It's tiring, but important for their development. Putting them in front of the tablet turns them into zombies.
Children are born with the joy of helping. We are guilty of not properly nurturing them to grow in their love and dignity of being useful.
We put them in a room full of toys to keep them out of the way but I see they will not be in the way and want to help like these little ones

Over generalization leads to misconceptions and preventable disasters. Some of those teens in cities are already murderers and violent offenders. I believe you are confused with middle class and upper-class teens who live life of pampered sheltered privilege.

Called growing up quick
They can still play but their main tasks are productive and those are their priority which is natural
What a beautiful robust baby, with such an eager appetite! So sweet and so eager to help and pull her own weight.
This 2 year old has so much personality. And she’s being raised by attentive, respectful parents. Bravo to great parent teachers- Allowing a child to be free to explore and learn while providing everything she needs to grow up.
I love how they all let her blow out the matches 😄
I think it’s quite a stretch to say the child has been provided with everything they need to grow up. Some modern cleanliness standards and healthcare would definitely help.
The baby is so tiny but she's determined to be helpful
And she's adorable. Trying so hard to help her momma! 🤗🥰 We made stilts like that when we were children. The newborn caribou is precious too. 🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏾

@@susanlewis9351really. Babies need to be more robust in Siberia, but it seems you’re just trying to be nasty. Yes she looks very chubby but most children in Siberia have big round cheeks. It is the face shape of most siberians.
Unlike Western kids
Where r you from?
I wish I was brought up that way. My memories of childhood are being bored.
Hi
And although that baby was constantly around fires and even throwing sticks on them, her mother didn’t seem concerned about her safety, knowing the baby girl would only do what she saw her mother do! 😮We need that kind of closeness with our toddlers and kids! I don’t think she will be a ‘Rebellious teenager doing drugs’😮
Or getting lazy and fat by hanging out on laptop for hours and hours everyday!

It can be a sin when we become wasteful. Ever seen or hear George Carlin skit on stuff? We become addicted to consuming. because they’re raised outside then privilege and unnecessary sheltering of Western society and are taught from a young age that work is something important and necessary in order to survive, not something your mom forces you to do instead of playing video games
Or most adults these days. Here it is just sit in front of your TV and play videos games. I have a granddaughter who until she was 19, her only chore was to get the silverware out of the dishwasher and put them in the drawer. She is now 25 and will not do a single thing for anyone except herself and her boy friend. In the middle of this video an ad pops up - “choose from thousands of electronics”…. It was a relief to return to this film. How sad our consumerism lives have become.

Beautiful. They let the children struggle. That's how they learn.

Are there still places in Australia where they do that?
Healthier... Psychologically, sure, but apart from that, inhaling open wood fire smoke all day long + living in extreme cold conditions cannot be good for your lungs at all.
Beautiful little one so helpful

Well, in Western civilization, if we would allow our children to do these things, the government would take them from us.
What the world needs is balance. A gentle protective hand while still allowing our children to be independent and explore. We need to get the governments out of our lives
Here in the UK they over protect children, but our government appears to not care about them being abused and raped by grooming gangs, sick world or what?
