Great job with the paint job. I really appreciate all the little technical details you provided and letting us know the different paint tints you were using. Colors look spot on to my eye.
Thanks for the weathering/paint tutorial. What did you use for the padding/lining inside the helmet to make it wearable? Many thanks again for showing us your skills.
I am planning something really cool! I am looking for the a perfect Mandolorian helmet to customize my self. It has to be 100% accurate. I really think I’m going to do the Deathwatch helmet once I find one.
Now in terms of paint, would you only recommend spray or maybe like acrylic paint or something? I am wanting to paint mines but am a bit unsure of what kind of paint I should use.
I used the satin lagoon linked and it has a lot more of a green tone to it, do you know if there was a change in their mix or possibly a replacement color?
I noticed that your ear pieces slide on and off. Where did you get your helmet from? I would like to purchase that same exact model type, ear pieces removable and all.
almost feels blasphemous to use a deathwatch paint scheme on the fett helmet considering jango's past lmao, great video, it'll be a real help when i paint my helmet!!
They didn't use the Boba Fett Black Series Helmet, but the Prototype Boba Fett Black Series Helmet, that comes all white and clean. www.staractionfigures.co.uk/user/products/large/E9499_PROD_SW_Proto%20Fett_63977306_20_Online_300DPI.jpg
The prototype Fett black series has the damage built into the mold as well. You can see in the video that they didn’t fill in the molded damage. The damage still in the helmet is most easily seen in the close ups of the back of the helmet
@@jorgelizaso978 As mentioned below, the damage bits ARE present on the prototype helmets. It's not just a paint app on the Fett helmets, it's actually part of the mold. Which is really cool on the Fett helmet, gives it more depth, but it is a little irritating on the prototype helmet.
so cool to see you and your brother sharing your passion and skills with us
That turned out amazing you nailed that color if you ask me

Absolutely brilliant job! I'm inspired to do my own repaint.
amazing paint job, your brother is a master 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Very cool. 🔥 I just received the prototype helmet in the mail. 🎨
Wow! Amazing job!
Tell your brother he's got good taste in music with the Skillet shirt seen them in concert many times always a blast!
Good demo, thanks.
Amazing painting skills your brother have!
Thanks for the weathering/paint tutorial. What did you use for the padding/lining inside the helmet to make it wearable? Many thanks again for showing us your skills.
It comes with the inner lining included
That’s my daaaaad
He’s not Darth Vader.
Colors looks good...im snaking em 😀 great job
Awesome job!

Hi Mike. Welcome!
that is beautiful. amazing job!
Could you turn this helmet into a welding helmet by just changing the visor out?
How long did it take for each coat of paint to dry?
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!
Hey guys kinda late to the party but was just wondering if it’s okay to use a heat gun to dry paint on a pla 3D print?

Well, I already love your videos. However, I started geeking out when I saw your brother’s Skillet shirt
You should make a Mandalorian welding helmet so you can weld in it and see the arc
I noticed that your ear pieces slide on and off. Where did you get your helmet from? I would like to purchase that same exact model type, ear pieces removable and all.
It’s the black series helmet
That is so cool!!!!
How did they sand it so well

So question did you put the tape directly onto the visor or did you remove visor?
This is so bad ass man!
I wanna do it but I'm scared i might not tape it very good and get it in the visor 😬
Looks so good. You guys do commissions? Be interested in one of these for sure!!
Could you link me to that flat black primer? Actually thinking of making my helmet flat black like that
to simulate metal i use sometimes air conditioning aluminum laminate tape. not
duct tape i mean
gotta use the prototype version cause the regular boba has the dent in the forhead
33:32 how do you get the armour to attach to what ever your wearing or what ever mandalorians wear underneath
That's the question.
You could use magnets and Velcro
He uses studs that go into the material
Does the visor have the same issue as the Jango 2 Piece from Rubies? I.e. not dark enough?
The visor isnt see through unless light hits it a certain way....dark enough to do the job
I like ur bros shirt 🔥
I. Just. Want. It.
Want to do this and paint it with the Jango Fett colors
I want it to paint it silver
Red visor rim and on the dome add tally marks
Did you do something to get rid of the battle damage on the prototype that was same as actual boba fett helmet?
They didn't use the Boba Fett Black Series Helmet, but the Prototype Boba Fett Black Series Helmet, that comes all white and clean.

@@Bad_Wolf_Media very irritating. Was a deal breaker for me.
Why didn't you remove the visor?
Peace - Damn, using the prototype helmet seems like a waste of one the best Black Series helmets. Great work still.
So, you didn't sand it before you primed it?
They did
Can you please list the paints used?
They are listed in the description
Found it Thank You
Yea but when are you selling it
Is that helmet mercs legal?
My understanding is the helmet is allowed with some minor mods.
Why not just remove the visor? Just a few screws in there...
Do you guys have a website where I can check your products or possibly make an order
This man put everything in the description except for the specific Scott brite sanding sheet 😂
i feel like you should've removed the visor
Glad I wasn't the only one wondering why they didn't do that
Worked fine without doing it though
As someone with the helmet the visor is definitely in there weird and would’ve been way more of a hassle to remove and put back on
