Snorkeling at Snoopy Island

Great day out with the kids and friends snorkeling at Snoopy Island.
Snoopy Island, also called Snoopy Rock is a small rocky island off the northern coast of the Emirate of Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman. The Arabic name is derived from the coastal town of Al Aqah and is thus Jazirat al-'Aqqa. The island gets its name from the interestingly shaped rock, which when viewed from the side, looks like the cartoon character Snoopy lying on its back.
The island contains beautiful coral reefs and an abundance of marine life, a dive in the waters around Snoopy Island is truly one to be remembered. The water is warm year-round and offers perfect diving conditions.
