Give him a new truck Nissan!
@Awesomest Drive you mean since 2007? Yeah, a million miles is a great milestone. Toyota and Honda do it all the time to those that reach that limit. Great for marketing and not to mention to tear it apart to see how the truck is after million miles.
Right
@@mohammedhammad4557 Looks like @NissanUSA is going to give him a new 2020 Frontier afterall, cool. usa.nissannews.com/en-US/releases/2020-nissan-frontier-debuts-with-heart-of-the-next-generation-frontier
This truck still looking good, it will hit 1.5 million mile I think. It is probably better idea that Nissan should give ticket to get new truck free after ...
Give him the brand new 2021 model
"Driving one million miles is rare and not guaranteed for other Nissan vehicles."
true like the new maxima and sentra are complete garbage
Search for the 1m miles tundra
@1234 then you have me, 20000km in 15 years
@@xalataf3365 dam you barely drive that thing
Niss.. Renaults.. Nissan has not been Nissan for a long while :/
He deserves a new truck from Nissan, for free..
That's 1.6 million kilometers, btw..
Doan Ilman Munandar its miles because every car with miles has mph above kph... he even says miles not kilometers

This truck is so old that if Nissan were to give him a brand new 2019 Frontier, it would look exactly the same
2019 frontier is still 2 years old
Jordan Fournier the 2019 Frontier is basically the same truck from 2005, but with all the known issues worked out...
Fifthcell r/woooosh
Jordan Fournier one?
Matt 2019 vehicles were first released in 2018.
*1 million mile on a 4 cylinder with a manual transmission with are both original. What does Nissan do? They DISCONTINUE the 4 cylinder engines and manual transmission...*
@jason9022
I want them.
@jason9022 I also want them.
@jason9022
Yeah that's dumb. Car companies should make them. Frankly, people are idiots for not buying them.
They know if they build their cars like this frontier, they'd be out of business. Sad how far Nissan has gone down the toilet after the Renault acquisition...
Tylnorton It’s because they don’t want anyone else getting to a million miles. They want it to break down just so people would buy new ones and make profit off that
Manual transmission last longer.. bring back Manual MT
Actually, the Frontier hasn't had any major changes since 2005. You can still get one with a manual. The Toyota Tacoma and Jeep Gladiator offer manuals as well.
@@hammycow26 thats why they are reliable because they use the same components for many years. Ford and chevy update their trucks every 2-3 years
@@Jimmyxsx This is true. I would still prefer the modern accommodations and safety of a newer truck . I don't think I could live with an interior as cheap as what's in that Frontier. If I had endless money to waste I'd probably by a Gladiator, lol.
I have a 2007 Nissan Frontier just hit 143k miles manual transmission. I havent had any major problems. Keep up with regular maintenance
@@kumamakanui1514 you better keep that car until 1000K miles :)
Just checking back 3yrs later my 2007 Nissan Frontier is at 191,000 miles and running. 🙏🏼
Thanks for being part of the Nissan family, Kuma! ❤️
I have driven Yugo for 60k miles, that is even greater success.
Nikola Jevtic golf 2 je otac
My father knew a guy with a Yugo. He got it from his father as a 16th birthday present, and he managed to hit 11,000 miles before the clutch burnt out, and the engine lasted only 5,000 miles more.
I love it how nissan uses the frontier to say that their cars are reliable
Supercars Of America Because all their trucks are reliable except for the vehicles that use cvt
It's their transmissions that are the biggest weak point on top of them cheapening their build quality alot over the years. Manuals just last longer in general.
@@AscendedBeyond Automatic transmissions suck too. You should consider yourself lucky if you hit 300,000 miles without a rebuild
meanwhile this guy is rocking 1,000,000 miles+ on a reliable manual
bob smith trucks without the 4.0 that is. That was a big mess from 05-10 and Nissan customer service is crap.
They are reliable . Probably you're not reliable. I've owned Nissan cars since i started driving. None has let me down. My titan has 270k and still is brand new to me
I've got 500k on a Altima. Id never buy a new Nissan though with a CVT.
They aren't built to last like the old ones. Sad
MrRedEye iss sad most cars aren’t like that :( but they can still be good just requires lotsss more care!
They have the same same train from 07 to 2020 so they should last as long
It all depends on care
My 2009 Nissan Cube made it to 155000 miles no transmission issues
Mark Sherry i think the cube is cute 🤣
He's gonna be disappointed real soon with that Altima in his garage....
That looks like a Maxima.
@@jundialhaqiqa9907 You're probably right, either way it's still shit...
Marco Morel it’s shit because it has a cvt huh?
@@gotohell7338 yes, Nissan's reliability would sky rocket if they got rid of that awful transmission
Marco Morel: Only Nissan Armada, and Nissan trucks like the frontier and titan are good since they don’t have that stupid CVT Transmission. That would kill them.

No one’s talking about how good of a driver he must be. It’s extremely unlikely to go 1,00,000 miles without a single accident, that’s what i’m impressed by
I'm surprised he hasn't hit at least one deer.
He represents the stick shift community well.
He sure does know his way around a stick
800k on a clutch, AND this guy delivers in the city of Chicago. This dude definitely knows how to drive a manual properly lol!
The trick is not the spin to high rpm at first and second gears. First, as long as the car is start moving, move to second...
First and second gear. grind the clutch the most.
Beautiful truck from Nissan's golden age! It's a shame your crap CVTs aren't even a fraction of this truck's reliability.
Sup Bladed
Think about how many emotions have been in that car. How many good, bad, happy, and sad experiences, how many places the car has seen. Awesome.
I drive this same truck, a 2007 Nissan Frontier XE. The only differences from his to mine is mine is an automatic and the color is black, and has some slight modifications done to it. I’m at 120,261 miles and have only had 1 problem with it! It’s my first truck, I got it in March of my senior year, so a little over a year ago, at 96,000 miles. Great truck! I love it!
Thank you for your feedback, Jon. ❤️ We are thankful to have you in the Nissan family!

Guy: **sad music* most days I’m in the truck more than I am at home
Nissan: oh yeah it’s happy music time
2 weeks later
Engine: ight imma head out...BOOM!!!
Didn't hear any tap or knock so I assume that engine should make it another 100,000 miles unless cover up with heavy duty oil from your shady dealership.
Damn the clutch lasted 800k miles 💪🏽
Im here waiting for Scottie Kilmer to say something.
Erick Guzman “Nissan’s are just endless money pits. The money he had to spend on the alternator, the water pump, the clutch, he had to spend a small fortune to keep the thing running! On my 94 Celica, I just change the oil and it’s still running 234,000 miles strong! I only paid $400 for it!”
@@glassimageproduction the total of all the new parts and an average grade oil change (35$) every 25000 miles is around 1800$ which is NOT a small fortune and is actually less than the average person spends on maintenance or a new car in just 5 years.
He has repeatedly said that the frontier is the only good car Nissan makes.
😂😂😂
glassimageproduction $350*
Because it doesn’t have cvt transmission
CVT transmission = continuously variable transmission transmission
I saw this truck at the Chicago auto show yesterday.
I just went yesterday, absolutely loved the show.
DirtyDan I have a 2007 Nissan Murano with 200,000 miles
this is amazing being a nissan driver for 16 years i am proud
Nissan engineers must've forgotten about "planned Obsolescence" when designing this model. The company bosses wont like this situation.

@Robert Lopez lmao
@@raidersfan1384 my dad had an 08 frontier with a manual that he had bought brand new and the transmission crapped out at 50k. while we were towing with it daily for the final year of ownership, it wasn't nearly enough to justify the trans to be dying at 50k, especially considering it was a manual. we bought an 07 toyota tundra and its still chugging along at 400k
No they are not this is the most reliable version of a frontier specially because of the transmission being manual and now that’s gone so good luck but they are a lot cheaper than like a Tacoma so it just depends on how long you plan on keeping the truck.
very cool to see high milage cars !
Still have my 2013 Frontier running like a champ!! 140,000 miles. Nissan USA Don't mess up the redesign!!

With a manual. Only
You can get a Nissan Frontier 2019-2020 with 6 speed Manual equipment in Mexico.
Or you can by a tsuru 2017
I like how It handles on the road, I turned this Nissan Frontier into a emergency vehicle and I'm a Paramedic for our county & this was the very first time I used in a very bad accident!! And alot of other Fire Departments and Ambulances couldn't keep their eyes of my Paramedic Nissan Frontier! This can go anywhere it needs to go and I really love how it features everything inside & outside!! I liked it so much I had to by another one for myself and I can take it anywhere & off road terrain!! Thank you Nissan Frontier 👍🏻
Marty, we're happy to hear the Frontier has made a lasting impression on you! Thank you for your kind words and for being a part of the Nissan family.
I love this little truck. Congratulations. Back in 2020 i saw this truck at the Chicago Auto Show.
You could see the way he shifts that gear, you know he really takes care of that car.
Toyota, Honda, and Nissan are one of the most reliable vehicles out there my opinion.
Nissan can make very reliable and dependable vehicles for every model of they want to. Hey Nissan bring back the true authentic Japanese technology for all model how you used to make before Renault take over Nissan.
No
I have been and still am one of long time royal customer and driver of Nissan vehicle since Datsun. I bought 2019 Frontier SL and I am glad.
Steve, just think of all the wonderful places your Frontier will take you. We’re thrilled to hear that you are enjoying the drive.
I like how they celebrate the driver , because he’s the one who gets all the credit , he kept the machine going for so long , he’s a good driver and a good father apparently .
😊
We own a 2009 Nissan Pathfinder SE V6 4WD. Bought brand new June 2009. Currently at 80,000 miles. Never had any issues or used the 5 year 60k mile powertrain warranty. Just routine maintenance performed at our local Nissan dealership.
moe malik do you mean 800,000 miles? Because eighty thousand ain’t nothing for a nissan engine
Shit my dad has only about 15,000 on his ‘08 🤣
Finally, a Nissan that went to the moon and back roughly twice.
I love nissan. I missed my nissan.
This is great! Congrats to Brian Murphy and to Nissan, just the inspiration that is needed to continue making great cars and trucks.
Toyota your not the only car/truck Company to see a car/truck make it over to a 1 million miles!! I'm so glad I bought a 2023 Titan pro-4x
Finally a Nissan that lasted unlike the ones with cvt that’ll break within 150000 miles
Actually, there had been A LOT of Nissans that broke down under 50,000 miles with the shitty CVTs!
Lol the bald tire @2:29
I love my Nissan Trucks. Nothing but Nissan since 1985. Great story!
I remember seeing the video about the Toyota Tundra that had one million miles like three years ago. It’s incredible to think that some of these vehicles can drive for that long...a little love and care will go a long way with a vehicle.
Its a good time to get the 2021 Frontier!!
Even the 2020, has the same powertrain as the 2021, but still the old body.
They are giving him a brand new truck
I'm not sure what is more impressive, the truck lasting 1 million miles, or this guy driving 1 million miles with a manual trans in 12 years.
This why i stick with Nissans. We never had a problem with the old ones or the new ones. But Nissan has to prove they are the best!
Haha thats the funniest joke in 2020 so far! :D
Jia Jun Sun whats funny? I have a nissan with 372k miles rn and we have other nissans with over 160k on them. If you take care of maintenance they will take care of you 🤷🏻♂️
@@JDMFR3AK Exactly. The issues people are having with the CVT is that people were never told they need to change the fluid at regular intervals when they bought it. Follow the maintenance exactly and no issues.
Kevin Cody yup we always drained and filled every 25k and never had problems.
Nissan maxima with the CVT is a POS lol
It seems that the cars and trucks that last longer are driven more and kept alive it’s as simple as that, not letting the car sit and sink to the earth
smh my dads gone a million miles in a V6 GMC van an all he gets is his friends making fun of him for still driving it
Get this man a new truck Nissan! He deserves it
A 2007 Nissan Frontier King Cab with 1,000,000 miles and still running with the original engine and manual transmission. Awesome 👍
My Dad has a 2004 Frontier he bought new originally and now has over 200k miles. Body has aged but still runs well😎
Surprised the transmission didn’t give out.....I work on Nissans all the time with that problem
Edit: just realized it was a manual.....I know, I’m an idiot😅
That VQ engine platform is simply as solid an engine that can be made.
Manual transmission, perhaps?
Congratulations also to NISSAN USA for your generous gift
You have some pretty worn tires on that truck, that for sure is unsafe
You mean budget drag radials
They just look like cheap tires
Thank You Nissan
Toyota Nd Honda like “nice achievement try higher”
ON THE OTHER HAND -- Nissan Frontier owners/prospective buyers, be aware of:
"Strawberry Milkshake of Distruction" of transmissions (do a web search)
Stuck gear shift repair, electric window repairs, and fuel mix oxygen sensor repairs. All are quite expensive. And gas mileage of 17 -18mpg.
I own a 2007 Frontier (Nismo model) and had these failures within 175,000 miles.
In Australia these are called the Nissan navara and 90% of the ones I see are blowing black sooty smoke
that Nissan frontier is my favorite gen! glad to see one driven/used so much and still in great condition!
i bought a nissan frontier a year ago and love it so far, its still simple and reliable hope i get many more years out of it
Nissan gave him a new truck but they wouldn't cover my frontier with 52,000 mi under warranty. They treat veterans like shit
My father had an NP300 that did over 1 million km, it worked every day all day and required little to no major fixes till about 500k-600k km. Tough cars, excellent build quality it's truly made to last. After it reached over a million my father traded it for a Mazda rx8, the owner of the RX didn't believe that the miles were accurate and he very happily made the trade after test driving the NP300.
1million Km is about 630000m,
Man, i thought this was the 2020 model, they all look the same
This is the most impressive video I've ever seen about nissan. I might even get myself a Navara Frontier...good truck.
WHY WOULD YOU NOT SHOW IT ACTUALLY ROLLING OVER TO A MILLION?!?!
IcyBrook
the digital reader for nissan is capped at 999999
it will not roll over to 1,000,000
I’m at 302,000 on my 2006 Nissan Frontier V6 4.0, I love it and she still runs great
I’d say give him a new truck but it would look identical and he’d be downgrading to an automatic since the manual is discontinued.
I hope Nissan slapping MT on 2021 frontier because of him.
TechnoCody Unfortunately, that didn’t happen.
God bless you sir. I tip my hat to all the hard working people out there nothing like making an honest living
Nissan will do this again when their CVT Altimas reach 80,000K

I love the Frontier
Toyota did this twice allready w a Tundra and Matt Farah's million mile Lexus 🥱
Kevin M this Nissan is a .00000001% of all of them, they are a garage company
It's a miracle that it's frame didn't snap in half.
Ford owners be like "NiSsAn TrAnSmIsSiOnS aRe GaRbAgE"
and toyota owners..
Which is hilarious, considering that Ford is currently in a class action lawsuit over their transaxles in the Fiesta and Focus
Ideally Nissan would shell out a brand new Frontier for him in exchange for the one he has now. One million miles is nothing short of amazing!.
Toyota has some serious competition out there.
they did at the 2020 chicago auto show
"Haha that's fun huh, now pick em all up" 😂😂😂

What’s amazing is that truck has 1 million miles that most of it was in Northern Illinois! How it’s able to withstand the Chicago winters each year that long is insane!
from my own perspective he kept it moving and that more than likely melted the snow along the free way wind trips.
Plot twist:
Some of the videos are seeing his plate number.
I bet Nissan give him 2022 Nissan frontier , the new truck is a beast i wish I have one
WHAT THE HECK!? Did the ODO turn back to 000,000? or it stay on 999,999?

@@thecarelectronicguy687 wow, that's interesting. I didn't know. Thank you.

Hey Nissan, since you "compromised" yourself and turned off the comments on your terrible Brie Larson commercial, I have to post here instead. Do you realize that Brie Larson is one of the most hated actors in the United States? She is a loud anti-male activist that promotes the idea that men should not use any of the products that she likes. So you just made a commercial telling all men not to buy your cars. I really don't think that was your intention, but just letting you know why you are getting so much backlash.
This video makes me feel good
It's all about how you keep and handle your car....manual transmissions are better than auto though
You properly maintain a truck it can last a lot of miles but sadly ALOT of people don't do proper maintenance and run them into the ground. I bought a 1991 Plymouth Acclaim with 229k on it for $300 back in 2002ish and never had one issue drove it to 270k before I sold it for $500 and still ran great cold AC them 3.0 V6 motors were super reliable.
not only maintenance but also driving slow keeps vehicles running longer. So much loons out here in socal going 90+mph on a daily basis and wonder why they need a new car every 3 yrs. Smh
