Not childhood for me, but a good part of my early teens, i feel you man, i get it.
God, this hurts. So much potential wasted, all for nothing. The chorus repeatedly asking "What are you doing it for?" on top of Connor interacting with everyone throughout the series hits the hardest. While it came out years before the series' untimely end, this feels like one last send-off to the characters we've come to know throughout its run.

Do not worry, the fans will take over and continue the series, hopefully. It doesn't seem too hard to re-do the drawing style of Bung, in my opinion

@@hornet5680 they wasted all of the patreon money on what was basically soft core porn when it was leaked instead of actually making a proper ep and now they are no longer doing anything to do with confinement due to backlash and I think there were a few other reasons although I can't remember off the top of my head. So it kinda ended on a not so great note.

I think its important to seperate the art from the artist, or else you relize everything is a shitshow when you look into it hard enough

There was more to episode 8 actually but most people cut it so that it only showed those parts. Still unacceptable but we should still acknowledge he didnt just make those bits and nothing else.

For me this series was a nice thing to sink into during engineering degree. It got my thoughts of the daily stress and tiredness. And when I saw some news lately I was hoping that after I finally sorted out my life it will continue and it will be a reminder of this small good things that happened when hair were falling out of my head from all of the stress. Well shit happens and I'm really fucking angry that series like that die from the most idiotic reasons and creators doing stupid shit. And this song.This song made me smile even when I failed like half of the exams cause of their cumulation...real shame it will be the end.

Precisely, a manipulative person named Orion, manipulated Bung by his feelings. Orion accused an innocent person by the username of Kwite, after sexually assaulting him. Bung, the creator of this series, believed in what Orion claimed to be a victim of sexual assault, even when the proofs were obvious. Even if the whole internet told Bung he was being fooled by Orion, he was blinded by his feelings, and Orion being a close person to him, he manipulated Bung so that he stays in his side. Orion was Co-Worker of the Confinement series, and as such, when this accusation came out, it was when episode 8 was being made... When Orion came in and got Co-Worker, he COMPLETELY RE-WROTE Bung's series, and replaced Episode 8 with 4 whole minutes of NSFW content that you can find on UA-cam. He even managed to make BUNG do the NSFW. After that, Orion had planned to make Connor break up with Natalie Powers, in order to date and fall in love with Orion's OC. pure... Bullshit.

It is immeasurable how fucking angry this situation makes me. Lord Bung was someone I looked up to, and I loved confinement SO FUCKING MUCH. Episode 1-7 and the music videos made me very happy due to their quality and great storytelling. Seeing what Episode 8 was made me sickened and pissed me the fuck off. Instead of being a real episode, someone convinced Lord Bung that the new episode should just be soft core porn.
My disappointment and anger with this situation cannot be put into words, but I certainly tried here.

So I’ve been rewatching the show and here’s my head canon (if you see a issue please tell me) :so there’s some sort of demon slash devil that has immense power over life and death the thing(that’s what I’m going to call it) is worshiped by a cult the cult sacrifices people to the thing for some unknown reason and has seemingly been around for a long time at one point the cult is living in a factory and sacrifices a kid named Conner the thing decides to possess Conner giving him the power to come back to life the second he dies the kid is brought back to his mother but when the mom discovers Conners anomalous abilities she leaves him in a car in a parking lot Conner is then found by the scp foundation and then the rest of the show happens the thing seems to protect Conner from anything of higher power so the sword the got killed was the thing’s doing so obviously Conner serves some greater purpose maybe the thing wants a human form to destroy the world or some other reason whatever the purpose Conner serves it’s not good and with his power we can only hope that we stay on Conners good side. Anyway that’s my head canon sorry for writing for so long have a good day
