I have used watches by all the major brands and always loved the Coros app and general ecosystem. I have used the HRM for a few years as well. I swapped between Forerunners and Suunto race and Pace 3 but always stayed with AMOLED. I am so happy they released this now as it is literally perfect
Yes these guys do sound like a Garmin advertisement. Never any mention of the huge issues in the Garmin ecosystem. I use an arm strap with my Garmin but when I finish running I have to rely on the garmin watch sensor for recovery status etc. The garmin sensor is so bad even on the FR965 a £600 watch. The sensor on other watches like Coros, Apple & Polar are so much more reliable
Probably the best analysis of the pros & cons of Coros products in general - especially the insights given by Nick. All of the reviewers of this channel overall deliver a fairly objective analysis of the products they review. When bias is presented, they are quick to acknowledge it and explain why they are sharing it.
Was planning to buy the Apex Pro 2, but ended up choosing the Pace Pro on release. Amoled display and getting the latest chips inside was the determining factor. First 2 weeks have been super, the Coros platform and map creation are big highlights for me.
The big issue for me as a Garmin Forerunner 245 Music user looking to upgarde is the incompatibitility with Spotify, I quite often - well most of the time - run without a phone but still like to listen to music. Which is probably why I'll end up waiting for the 75 range or go for a Fenix.
Does it have a daily suggested workout based off of your 7-day training, sleep, activity, and races that you've put in your calendar similar to Garmin?
Thanks for the thorough review fellas! I’m planning an upgrade from my Pace 2 and torn between this and the FR955 which is available for about the same price. Entered some long ultras next year so will need strong battery life and maps and both seem to fit the bill. Main concern with the 955 is that Garmin may stop supporting it before long. Any thoughts on the better choice?
The biggest dealbreaker with Coros watches for me (and for lot of my friends) is still the limited amount of sports modes available. For example still no E-Bike, Snow Shoeing, Kayak, Mountaineering, Inline Skating, etc. etc. Suunto for example has more than 70 sports modes.
@@tom_mountain_athlete As a runner I find Garmin watch user interface is the worst because it is full of stuff I don’t need like golf etc. All that extra stuff is ok as a optional extra to download but I have no way of getting rid of all that junk that I don’t need

The irony of sitting through a garmin advert waiting to watch a coros review

Saw this on FOD Runner's channel. Looking forward to seeing what you guys think too.

Sheeesh. Never been this early.
I always run with a phone and dont really use maps - price wise Pace Pro and FR 265 are the same - what should I go for?
Does it do v02 max ?
With a mineral glass and stainless steel bezel, why oh why Coros 😢
I’ve never understood why people use always on display. It makes no sense. Get the battery life and have the screen come on when you need it.

It is possible to create custom activities for sports other than the default ones
