MULTICORE SUPREMACY
Double Oberon comps shall now be known as the Toblerone (Doubleron) comps.
Double Oberon is very handy for Multicore since they can fill their own NP Gauge while also giving the third DPS a 40% charge, on top of the total 60% NP Damage Up and potential 100% Buster Up plus doubling their total NP Damage Up buffs.
The 40% charge means that the third DPS can go CE-less if they have 60% NP Gauge of their own, which can be supplied by 20% from Append S2 and 10-20% from Mystic Codes, so you can go as low as using Servants that only has 20% NP Gauge from their Active Skills.
(My own Oberon doesn't have his Append S2 unlocked yet so I have to use MC battery on him.)
You can also just drop to 5xCE and use an NP Gauge CE.
You may think that Oberon's NP would be very troublesome to deal with if the damage isn't enough to kill the enemies due to the Invincibility demerit, but this can be resolved through variety of preventive means as listed below.
1. Knowing his damage thresholds.
NP1 Oberon with 60% NP Damage Up buff deals 42,426 damage (38,184 to 46,626) to Berserkers and 31,820 damage (28,638 to 34,970) to Three Knights (Sabers, Archers and Lancers). So it's fine for me to use him in nodes with HP below those amount.
There are a lot of variables to this so I won't go to every sort of combination with attributes and CE stats and whatnot.
2. Using Mystic Code buffs.
Double Oberon already gives a crapton of damage buffs so W3 damage is not much of a concern. You see in this video that I don't even use Oberon's S3 at all because the 60% NP Damage Up from their his S1s is already huge enough as it is. This gives us a large freedom on where we can distribute our damage buffs across different NPs, which leads me to the next point.
3. Using his S3 on himself.
A lot of people forget that Oberon himself is also a viable target for his own S3, which we all know boosts NP damage by a ton. For example, with his own S3 used on himself, the NP1 Oberon damage I said before would skyrocket to 87,505 damage (78,754 to 96,168) to Berserkers and 65,628 damage (59,065 to 72,126) to Three Knights, and this is just NP1.
Just remember to use Oberon's own S3 to himself and not the other Oberon, so you don't end up with one Oberon who already has their skills all used and another Oberon who can't use their remaining skills because they are now on Eternal Slumber.
This comp is just hella fun to use so I've just been enjoying myself using it.
I also plan to record a lot of comp videos for Nerofest comps that I have on my Video Archive blog's theoreticals section, well at least the ones that I have the Servants of anyways.
