That's a really interesting piece of cork bark once I got to see it properly, I can see a face in the middle of it, from what I've seen on it so far and depending on how I look at it I can see an owl, a bear, a monkey, and a gnome. That's a seriously cool bit of wood!
Definitely reptile shops for some amazing slabs of cork bark! Not all shops are the same though, some will be tailored to simple reptile keeping and wont have as much decor, but others will be more set up for people like me that like to make highly decorated and beautifully planted vivariums.
@@planthappens very true, you'll often be able to find sphagnum moss, coco fibre and coir, and some amazing plants, and pricing is usually about the same as garden centres. I wouldn't recommend their pre-mixed substrates for anything other than a bio active terrarium though. You could mix it into potting soil, but it's not ideal for pots, as it's designed to be broken down by isopods and springtails (custodian bugs that break down animal and plant waste to keep a healthy, and self sustaining ecosystem) also it's nutrient content is generally quite low.

I've heard reptile stores have many products we can use for plants like coco coir etc. I will need to find one and visit!
