Wonderful to have such a wide range of pure silks to choose from, and so luxurious! If making a lined garment with the lighter crepe, what would you suggest using as lining? It would feel awful to use synthetic fabric, or something that didn’t have the same flow and movement. Keep up the great work.
Hi Anne, we have lots of natural fibre lining fabrics available (you can find them on our site here; www.minerva.com/mp?type=Fabrics&substrate=Lining&fibre=Natural%2520Fibres). In particular the luxury viscose satin or cupro bemberg linings would be lovely to line silk!

How do you wash these silks? Or are they dry-clean only?
Hi there! We would advise you Hand Wash these fabrics. Please allow 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side and always test a sample first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics.

I am always looking for a source for beautiful silk fabrics. However, if I am going to pay 49.99 pounds/meter. I would like more photos on the web site that show more detail of the print. Such as the scale of the print. How big are those flower or leaves? Or if it is a border print, a photo of the full width of the fabric.
