@7:30 - this is a false binary referendum on poes character. Poe didn't build the strange slowmoving bombers that functioned as kamakaze, Leia and/or Ryan Johnson did. Leia blaming Poe for utilizing the slow moving close range bombers the only way they could possibly be used destroyed her character. Add that to the inexplicable scenario of the republics leader reduced to a couple of ships and we're supposed to root for them as underdogs - again - after they lost everything fought for in the original movies, and you have a movie no one who enjoyed the first trilogy could possible like. The movie was hopeless from the first five minutes. Then the next scene, you have jar jar Finn. Done and done.
Yeah, creating fairly useless bomber ships like that is an unwise move on Leía and /or Rían Johnson’s part, especially because we have multiple other examples of far more evasive, capable bombers in previous films
