even Micah, who's the jokester of the group, looks down like "i wish i could go underground"
Ah yes the grass is very green moment for sure
333th like
he laughed at himself like an uncle at a family event after making the most racist joke you've ever heard
Laughs like that distant friend who makes friend group A humour
What racist joke?
Was not racist what he said very very stupid timing yes to say the least though.
@@cwcw402 its an analogy he’s not calling him racist
You should watch the followup episode, Kate Abdo targeted Carra all day, and kept roasting him every time she had the chance 😂
111th like
zealand have you been running
🧏🏻♂️🤫 nah he’s been mewing
@@TheCommentor-wtf mewing emoji
Im glad carra apologised and that kate made a joke out of it today.
It was a painful watch but Kate is clearly the queen of PR cus she handled it very well and hopefully carra doesn’t try any more football twitter jokes any time soon
They’re always making jokes at each other, Carra crosses a line with that one though and they’ve moved on.
At this point every time I see some weird football related incident on twitter my first thought is "ah! Z is gonna talk about this for like 15 minutes woohoo"
God, I was thinking "how bad could this be? Zea must be really making a meal of it" and then the clip played and I physically turned into a raisin
I think he meant "not to malik" as in asking why she said man united instead of him but the joje missed conpletly
exactly
Thats how i understoud it as well. He was starting to say something and more context was added as he was doing it giving it a completely different meaning
Carra asked her to put on an Arsenal jersey. She said no because she's loyal to Man U. Why would she mention her fiancé in that context?
Yeah i got that too but it's still weird af to bring the fiance 😂
He definitely didn’t mean that. This is a man who spits in teenage girls faces in his recreational time.
He’s a first class cunt. He implied that she’s unfaithful and broadcast it to the world.
Andy Gray and Richard Keyes were fired for far less than this.
I love how Henry pretended he didn't hear that😂
Second language moment, if it sounds stupid just assume it's a dialect thing
Not the worst thing to come out of his mouth.
Remember the spit?
I mean, we knew Carragher has the potential to say dumb things.
Everyone has said something while casually talking with friends that as soon as it escapes your lips you think, "oh shit, I should not have said that." Carra just did it on international television. I'd be redder than he was if I did that in front of that many people.
she thought Thierry said it HAHAHAh
Zealand should make a Strava so we can keep up with his running career
I have one you just have to find it
@@Zealandism tbh I dont even know your first name

@@brgracio Such an obvious joke but it made me laugh. Well done.

I’m glad I’m not alone with the pain watching awkwardness like this
This is really really painful
It's hilarious a bit of banter that fell flat.
The own goal master scoring another cracking OG.
I genuinely thought the idea behind the comment was to joke about why her response towards a loyalty question was ManU instead of Malik. Not a good joke, but seemed more like a failed joke than an unnecessary statement.
Thank you, I thought I was the only one 😅
I feel like most of the comment section haven't really watched more of their interactions and how often Malik is implemented into jokes. They always do it with respect for their relationship and never implying anything bad (except maybe a comeback of the guy she kissed behind the bins 😃) , this just came out wrong in my opinion.
Everybody has a friend like Jamie
I am so happy I've discovered this channel. You're like the football version of Penguinz0 & it's bloody wonderful
I'm surprised Carragher wasn't more focused on Arsenal's inability to "get down the tunnel" after that shootout win lol
I shouted in pain so loudly at this my wife thought I was seriously hurt
You know that it's a bad joke when Micah can't even be a part of the room 🤣
Mountain out of a molehill. This show regularly has awkward sometimes mildly distasteful segments and Carragher and/or Richards are invariably the cause. But the show is pretty good for US TV football (certainly far better than Fox or when TNT had Champions League). No clue that Henry has a crush on Abdo - it's certainly well known she has a guy.
Henry doesn't. It's just a stupid lore that's now being baselessly perpetuated
Crush? Thierry Henry is 46, this guy makes him sound like he is 14
This is payback for Henry touching his knee when Rodgers just got sacked.
You know it's bad when Micah Richards can't even utter a word.
Personally think this is his revenge for her calling him Jamie Redknapp at the start of the program
Kate handled it really well all things considered. Usually this crew is hilarious but idk what Jamie was even thinking
When you spend hours and hours and hours with the same people eventually you’ll say something that will hit a nerve. Doubt it’s anything bigger than what most people think it is. Later apologised and Kate also brought it up to say it fine apparently.
How in the hell did you make a 10 minute video off a 10 second clip that has already been resolved by a 1 minute clip?
10 minutes of talking about how embarrassing something was without making it clear what was embarrassing
Thierry turned so fast lmao bro almost got whiplash
That made me physically ill and normally I can handle awkward stuff. Jamie the Donkey is in a league of his own.
What did he say? How am I supposed to hear 2 people at once for glorbs sake?
No idea what he said, it doesn't help that the second time the host played the clip he shouted over the guy talking, I have no clue what I am supposed to be cringing at
"Not to Malik" (her husband)
@@benobrien1727 What's the problem with that?
What was said, I couldn't hear it. Everyone was talking at once.
@@stupiditiusmaximus Jamie said she wasn't loyal to her husband implying she was cheating on him with Henry
They joked about it the next day. They've been working together for a long time. They're friends at this point and ever friend group has that cringe friend.
Run, boy, run.
Her intro for the CBS show the day after is generational
What did she say?
@@BrianStorm742 can’t fully quote it but she dealt with the situation professionally
A slow mo display would have been epic 😂 😂 😂
Run zeland run
Not zealand rambling on to make the vid 10mins
I know right. Everytime.
Should have cut to an ad break like Zealand should always go on a run!
Big "...like YEAST?!" energy.
Certain media tried to milk this for something other than it is, a joke by a scouce.
One of my favorite clips ive come across on football twitter shit is hilariously awkward
This is the guy that spat at a kid
Could be worse. He could of kicked a fan in the head or something.
He spat at a car
@@apachesurvival5440 he literally gobbed at a girl but carry on
@@jamesmb7453 he literally gobbed at a car. Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.
@@apachesurvival5440 He spat at a car with an open window and the spit went in the window and onto a child.
What is wrong with you? Have you not seen the video?
Zealand did you see the football ultra group created by an fm player. I think you should run there to watch one of the games
He was clearly in the sauce while watching the game, man was redder than his club.
But good on him for apologizing, and Kate for being a damn queen
This is like VAR going frame by frame and judging it as a clear and obvious handball for a throwaway comment. If you watched this live you'd be like 'that's a little creepy', if you only saw the viral clip or it though... you'd be calling this "worst 10 seconds in TV history"
Run Zealand, Run!
Thanks Zealand that clip made me physically cringe so hard I want to go on a run just to forget it existed. And I don't exercise.
I literally can’t finish this 😂😂😂
Can't expect much better from a guy who spat at a child
At least he's not a rapist
Just call it Theiry Henry Rizz😂
You definitely saw it before
Clearly everything had plan this moment
Jamie Carragher's like that mate that spits on children
Tbf that's just Thierry's normal face
I genuinely think the CBS crew is the most frustratingly American thing in football.
They rarely discuss the games in depth, seldom say something insightful, and make so much noise while doing so, but they've got big "personalities" that they think Americans will love.
It's so frustrating as an actual fan of football. Everyone there is so talented, but it feels like they're directed to act like children.
Carra needed the Hold Up Bro meme guy
I hadn't seen this before I watched this video but even with all the preparation I had it was still hard to watch.
You should start an Orlando City fan group called Tampa Bay Mutiny, that woulod be pretty dope imo.
Oh boy...
Zealandism is the best channel ever 🎉
Zealand be in the running to replace Jamie
Zealand you've got to talk about Domingo and Aubagne FC what a story
10 min. video for 10 sec. clip.
I was there in person and we couldnt hear what they were saying obviously, and i remember there being a moment where everyone just goes a bit awkward and i was wondering what was said, but i glossed over it in my mind by the end of it. I get home, sleep and now i wake up to see that everyone is going crazy about it and i still didnt know what was said! 😅
That might have been the most scuffed delivery of any line I've ever seen. It's clear that his intention is to ask "Not to Malik?" when she says Manchester United, playing off the fact her first instinct is to say her team rather than her fella. But instead he delivers it like a catty statement, "Not to Malik..." in the same way a gossiping woman would about someone she doesn't like. The joke itself is eh, but his delivery is like a -50/10 and makes it so much worse lmao
Micah is my favorite here lol
Abdo dodged a bullet, Henry is a "handsy" plonker,...just asked Ireland.
I dont know man, looks to me like a genius viral marketing skit 😂 i mean you cant tell me these people dont know how viral their clips go so whos to say they dont set these „stories“ up
that entire pre-match show was full of awkward moments. micah went over to the small screen a couple of meters away from the desk to do an analysis of the goal from the first leg and kate asked him "how bad is your eyesight? how thick are those glasses? are they real?" to which jamie responded with something along the lines of "they're real. unlike your tan." kate started things, and neither of them are funny enough to come up with witty comebacks.
A joke about glasses (which are indeed fake) is okay. A joke about cheating on a partner is not okay. Hope this helps.
@@friendlybane he said they were real and that's what i'm basing my assumption on. btw, i completely agree that joking about infidelity is not ok (especially if the joke sucks). i'm just saying if the guy who told the joke was a better comedian, she could've been out of breath laughing instead of feeling insulted.
The tan joke is a constant though and Kate takes it well all the time
@@xelaander8429 she seemed kinda insulted after jamie told it.
Don't get me wrong but I thought the fake tan joke was funny. Not to mention, it's not the first time the tan joke has been brought up, there are far worse jokes than being offended at a comment about someone's tan.
I thought this was going to be the refering to Don Robbie as "The Big One" which I think happens a few minutes later.
Someone pointed out the context of what he meant and it definitely hits differently. Put his foot in his mouth though.
Kate: “I’m loyal [to Manchester United”]
Carra: “To who? Not Malik?”
He did not exactly recover well if he meant it that way.
@@BrianStorm742 Oh not at all, like I said he put his foot in his mouth hugely but when you read it written it does kinda seem less grim, still a weird thing to say but they recovered well yesterday
Kate did start it by introducing Jamie as Jamie Redknapp
But that was just an honest slip, Carragher's joke was....... :/
Carra's joke was also a slip and they've resolved it unlike you lots and your annoying Internet theories
Zeeland is the Moist Critical of soccer
accurate
This is basically the UCL version of an SEC Network incident that happened a Year ago.
A joke that went bad
I cringed a little bit. Haha excellent.
It’s not even cringey it’s kinda funny
Actually feel bad for Kate, doesn't deserve to deal with that kinda BS at all. Glad she didn't end up taking it personally but the fact it even happened is just so gross
It was a joke that was worded poorly, give it a rest
@@xelaander8429 literally didn't ask
At 3:52 now, what could have he possibly said?
Ok, yeah not the worst but it is wrong and strangely painful to hear 😂
Ohhh yeah that's baaaaad
jamie idk what hes doing. doesnt back liverpool in anything and now this
I might be in physical pain because of the awkwardness but nonetheless Zealand you should run.
perfect representation of the feigned oversensitivity of america
Exactly
Or people are just naturally cringing at an awkward joke… it’s not like anyone’s getting cancelled over this.
Is Zealand in his prime?
Who doesn't have a crush on Kate Abdo, though?
Oh god, it hurt me when he said that. That's live TV, dude, you can't be saying that!
Bro, a lot of background before the moment.. I love the CBS Sports Golazo crew nevertheless. And being a Liverpool fan, I'm loyal to Jamie (apart from that spitting episode a few years ago which he regretted of course).
OMG this is the worst thing you can say, as a scouser I’d like to apologise for which essentially is a Everton supporter (Carragher) on our TV screens jesus.
Dude spits at children, what do you expect
RIP Jamie Carragher's punditry career
"Not to Malik"😬😬😬😬😬😨😨😨😳😳😳😳🥶🥶🥶🥶
Sports really are just reality tv for bruhs
Not sure I agree with the title, I'd say Hitler introducing the 1936 summer Olympics might be worse. At least in hindsight
I really dont like these 4 on tv. I get what they are going for but I dont' care about their personal lives or relationships with each other. That's not why I am tuning in.
You don't have to, but everyone else likes them so you're in the minority, yo watch Gary Neville and Roy Keane then
I didnt think it was that bad tbh, inevitable with the theme of the show of them all ripping each other all day - im sure micah gets 100x worse its just relationships are a sensitive subject for people to get easily offended
It only extends from jokes they have previously made on the show about the same issue which nobody flagged up
He 100000% meant “not to malik?” as in “just manchester united? not malik?” not “you’re not loyal to malik”. still HORRIFIC timing of a joke and the annunciation did not help whatsoever
Caragher is the man! :)))
Did the PR team not tell Jamie how to approach the situation or tell him what he can't and can say. Utter Wild.
As an American you may not understand wit. I really didn’t think it was that awkward
Unpopular take but i don't even think Carra meant to implicate Thierry at all. I thought it was a response to her "no, (I'm loyal to) to man utd" comment. Obviously he should've known better as obviously most people would take it the way Z and others are running with.
