Only Czech musicians give Martinu's jazz-age ballets, from his Paris days,
any attention at all (with possible exception of Revue de Cusine).
This is a real shame. All of this music is refreshing and exhilarating,
and some of it is absolutely brilliant. How about Echecs du Roi, for example.
