      So so so close. Feels like i just need a bit of “luck” to give me a push over the line 😂 Getting there.

    Great video! My joy cons are both so loose I can't even play it any more! I got it at launch and there is just no resistance at ALL and it makes games impossible to play. I have already swapped out the joycons to nice hall effect sticks and I was so upset this problem was happening but now I can fix it! Thanks!

    This fixed my joycon "push" instantly. I opted for purchasing the linked equipment in this video and also did not separate the wires once the case was open just cuz I didn't trust myself to not screw it up. I just went nice and slow and replayed the video over and over to make sure I understood the assignment. Thank you so much! Liked and subscribed.

    Awesome video. Didn’t know a solution like this existed and those included instructions can be a nightmare. This helped immensely. Beggers believe why Nintendo RND department chose to focus purely on the kickstand and screen on the new OLED version but still use crappy clips on these things.
    Wonder if this kit will work on the OLED joycons? Do you know.

      it will work because the oled joycons are the same as the old ones

    Absolute star thank you. I’m deffo doing this as my right joycon slightly wobbles and it irritates me lol. I installed my NES shell like yours in another video and it looks amazing! I’m now just tweaking the little faults now, like the wobble.
    Just out of interest, do you know how to fix the vibration issue? Basically my right joycon’s vibration is very strong, unlike the left one, I’m not sure if it’s where I have put them back together incorrectly or what, for now I’ve turned off vibration altogether but would be nice to fix it.
    Thanks :)

    Will this also fix when they are "attached" and they stop being detected and you have to hit the lb buttons?

  • @nerx2583
    @nerx2583 Рік тому +2

    Does this also make the joycon less wobbly, or does this only prevent it from sliding off?

    it is a lot easier to just unscrew the 1 screw on the rail and then carefully unscrew the black screw on the tiny metal piece holding the lock because there is a spring underneath which makes you don't have to disassembly the entire joy con while you just have to remove 2 screws for the lock

    Does the metal now scratch the Switch tho? I imagine the inside of the railing has some scuffs marks with metal on metal.

    I've already done this to mine. As well as replaced the joysticks. Next up I'm going to add LEDs to a set of joycons. I'm a tinkerer at heart. 😉

    Any way to fix these WITHOUT taking them apart or sending them in to Nintendo?

    • @CTAtechdesk
      @CTAtechdesk  2 роки тому +3

      I don’t think there is as it’s an internal part. If you do find a way, please let me know I’d be very interested. I’ve got loads that need fixing 😂

    What about if a joycon is stuck

  • @francescoscarselli6081

    This is a switch or joycon problem? I have the switch since 2 days and is a gift from a friend so I can't give it back... the joycon doesn't come up but has a little up and down if I try to move it... It's normal or not? I'm worried!

    • @CTAtechdesk
      @CTAtechdesk  3 місяці тому

      There is some movement. As long as it works and you can take it off when pressing the rear button you’re good to go

    Or you can just buy new joy cons. Ain’t nobody got time to be bob the builder over something they paid damn near $400 retail for.

    Why does Nintendo use plastic rather then metal? 🤦🏻‍♂️
