With the SUV obsession showing no signs of slowing down it's no surprise Seat decided to axe their slow selling traditional family hatchback the Toledo. But that's not to say it's a bad car. Huge thank you to Joseph Lloyd for allowing me to review his car.

Good to see SEAT on your channel Matty! I sometimes forget that I drive an Ibiza which is annoying when I'm reminded. That's why I put an FR badge on the back to hide my sadness. I loved how you kept mentioning Volkswagon because my car is pretty much a Polo at the end of the day!

I love my 17 plate Toledo Xcellence.I also like the fact it is such a rare beast on UK roads.

Most of them where I live are taxis which I doubt are xcellence models but I'd imagine because they're taxis in a few years time they'll be obsolete

Cheap and Flimsy compared to the Leon it’ll blow you about in the wind only benefit I found to the courtesy car I had was the 1.2 TSi was surprisingly quick

Wouldn’t go as far as flimsy but maybe a bit of a hard plastic interior. Yeah power is quite impressive

@@MattysCars From what I experienced compared to my Leon at the time it was cheap and flimsy In my opinion lol in a little bit of wind it was being blown about a lot more than my Leon would have and the sales guy told “the Leon would be twice the car” but he was trying to sell me a 5F Leon at the time so that doesn’t say much 😂 but for a 1.2 tsi it was stupidly quick close to 70mph in second gear it was actually slightly quicker on the same uphill section as my Leon mapped to 147bhp 😂 .
