God damn, every time I think I’ve put enough hours into this game they add another thing that gets me back in.

X-Ray is the ultimate stealth rig since it delivers tons of intel, has a super short cooldown, can be used while in hiding spots, and even recharges your night vision.
Types of intel it highlights through walls: All usable items, Objectives and objective-related items, Secret Rooms, Evidence, etc. (obviously gotta upgrade it)
Even when shit hits the fan, you can make use of it to see if a threat is still in pursuit of you and/or locate a throwable (or other items you need fast) in a pinch.
I can definitely see how other rigs are more useful in the direct face of the threats, but X-Ray can keep you completely out of sight of the threats since you'll always see them coming. It definitely doesn't fit everyone's playstyle as it does require you to play slower, from the shadows, and more slow/methodical.
I love using X-Ray during my solo sessions where I know I can stealth most, if not all, of a trial.

36:32 This round, for instance, presents you with the word "black" written in WHITE letters, so you must choose the lower right option to get it right, because it actually says "white" (even if it is written in blue text, but that's just to throw you off)

I really enjoy watching your live streams, but watching you and CJ struggle through the Stroop Effect Test without reading the instructions was one of the most painful things I've ever seen.

By the way insym you don’t have to have a door for the barricade you can barricade doorways with no doors too
Insym that map with the doors changing isn’t a modifier it’s part of the trial. You are never stuck though there is always a route to get to every area you just gotta remember where all the doors are. And your rig being deactivated is a modifier however coyle also has a special ability that is always on where if he hits you with his bat it deactivates you rig temporarily

I had to turn this one off before he even started playing. Outlast Trials might just be over my limit for insanity, lol.
This game gets to me too but it’s such a satisfying game to watch Insym be good at.
Yeah, this is literally the only game that makes me feel uncomfortable. I've never had this happen to me before. I think that's also what makes it memorable. It's not just another horror game.

Insym can you play the final mission again as well they made it more difficult and added a new ending.

Why is it that no game can be unique anymore today without getting it's successful features copied by 20 other games immediately... the Catalogue is a cool concept and it's definitely a good addition but it's straight up just a one on one copy from hellidivers, sure that's not a copyrighted feature and yeah it's a cool thing to have but at least change it up y'know? seeing the same feature in every game just makes those nice and unique features boring and chewed out i feel like.
That was so funny CJ stepped on a Trap and they put me in a Room a rubber Room it was full of rats

As someone who barely cares about cosmetics, I am not compelled to it but it allows games to be free, which is way better for most people

Didn't even know there was a new map! Definitely my least favorite thing about updates in this game is that they constantly rework the entire UI so it's really confusing if you're used to the old UI.
Is that map not part of escalation mode? We mostly played that during this stream and I guess never randomly got it? Not our fault honestly. They should have put this map prominently in the game somewhere and not just add 15 new trials with new names 2 of which are on the new map. That is so confusing.
@@Insym This map has been teased for a while now. But you can find the map at Genesis or Bambino, it is called "Poison the Medicine"
@Insym if you go to the core therapy it will appear the trial "poison the medicine" as the last option, in the core therapy there are all the trials including the new one, the special therapy is just the same trials and challenges that were before the update (with some exceptions) but with bambino spawning randomly, that's just like the week therapy but a little longer
@@Insym The problem is the Escalation mode only plays on the MK challenges or smaller side missions.
Poison the Medicine is a completely new location themed around the docks. It's like Kill the Snitch or Grind the Bad Apples. It's a main trial and worth experiencing.
@@Insymescalation mode is only the MK challenges not one of the main trials the new trial is the baby’s main map. You are missing out it’s a fun trial. I really wanna see you play it I love your outlast videos I would also love to see how far you can get in escalation solo.
