Remember, this is MY “what I eat in a day.” This in NO WAY means you should be eating what I eat! You need to listen to your body, dieticians/nutritionists, and those who care about you. All in ed recovery can be rough, but going “all in” is what made the biggest difference in my eating disorder recovery!

I love echos. Your house has amazing acoustics. I’ve loved singing since I was little.

I know this is late but I think it's okay to eat smaller portions (coming from someone who is still dealing with acid reflux.). So at the beginning, split meal in half then eat the other half in an hour or so. Even snack on the mangoes once bored throughout the day. Still have at least three meals or five to six smaller meals. Consistency can be small but hard. I fully understand though. I want to eat but not to the point of sickness. It takes away the pleasure in eating.

I know everyone is different, but I think most people would not see this as anywhere near a common amount to be eating while 'all in' if you're still recovering. The choice to drink diet soda, for example... I just want you to feel comfortable eating more than this people, to be honest, this is maybe half (if that) of what most people would be eating in this situation.

But do you not have minimums? Like just "waiting" until you are hungry for breakfast or to eat doesn't seem like the best idea. In recovery we DO need to force and push ourselves to eat even when we are not hungry. Ex. 3 meals and 3 snacks should be a minimum! Also, about portions, it's not always about BIG portions but also the RIGHT foods. Dense foods, add cream and butter (ex. you could have added butter to your avocado toast. Adds no volume but would help you!! and even drizzling oil on top or sunflower seeds, etc.) and oil and nuts etc. Ice cream for snacks, chocolate covered nuts, chocolate bars, clif builder bars, smoothies made with cream, ice cream, nut butter, oats, etc. Oatmeal made with cream and milk then add butter and top with nuts and nut butter and dried fruit. Pastries, donuts, chips and dip. Fruit doesn't do much or veg. So DON'T fill up on these. Basically they are pointless at this stage and should be ON TOP of the set snack or meals. Like if you are still wanting the apple after your full breakfast, ok sure have it. But like a snack could be 2 of those bars in place of that peach and then a cup of chocolate milk with like some nuts or DRIED fruit would be better. :) Just some helpful tips!! There are EASY ways to get more without it being hard.

I think its important to rationalise the ed voice. 2 pieces of pizza is definitely not 'a lot' especially after a workout. most people would have more...

I don't even want to go back to eating. I always thought anorexic starved themselves to remain skinny. In my case it's because I am fed up with having to shop, bring the food in the house, cook , clean up. I am creative and refuse to be imposed on to prepare food. It's been 5 days since I was forced to shop for food. In that space of time I have eaten nothing . I don't miss it. I only shopped because there was nothing left in the kitchen. Another reason I won't eat is because I am picky. The food is unhealthy Eggs for instance , are repulsive. Dairy products like milk, cheese and such are unhealthy. I gag on meat, chicken, so that won't work. I can't stand cereal, cake, bread, cookies, pancakes, waffles, rice, potatoes. I gave no energy to prepare it, much less eat it. When I was a teenager, I would starve to keep my weight down. My mother made a big deal about it. It was her fault I was heavy; she was always cooking and insisting I eat. Happily, I now have my own home, I can do whatever I want. Food is a nuisance to prepare. It takes time and energy to clean up and I have better things to do. My LTR is anorexic. At one point I was hoping that if I cooked for him, he would get better but what happened was he wouldn't eat what I prepared. Most of the time all the food gets tossed into the trash

I don’t understand how this comment is going to help anyone. It’s literally so triggering and disordered. This is a pro recovery video and many vulnerable people that want to recover watch this. Please keep your triggering vents to urself. Congrats your eating disordered!! Me too but I don’t post triggering vents on recovery videos.
