b...BAHAMUT?? :D
It's larry!
I should have known you would appear.
"His lover and sibling..."
Words you never want to hear in the same sentence
TheGrandRevo izanagi and Izanami from Japanese Mythology are also Lovers and Siblings.
So....
Nothing new here
WEEEEESSSSTTTTT VIRRRRGIIIINNNNNAAAAAA
Onii-cha..😘😘😘😘
That's all over mythology.
pro trick: you can watch series at flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
and now Shinryuu is needed, due to FFXIV turning him into a nightmare inducing Trial that pretty much requires a Static group
Just a couple additions for XV Bahamut: in the Japanese information on Bahamut in Comrades, Bahamut is said to have raised the Glaives from the dead and given them immortal bodies, while obscuring their memories. How he did this is unclear, but because of this info we can see that Bahamut is pretty directly a reference to Saint Micheal who was the archangel in charge of delivering souls from the moment of death to the afterlife, judging them, and giving them a chance at redemption. Micheal was also the one who led the fight against Satan and cast him down. Bahamut does this with his trial by combat, and the fact that the PCs in Comrades are implied to have been the traitors involved in the downfall of Insomnia. The memories were hidden so as the PCs would have a second chance at devoting themselves tk their king. Thus how he gave them immortal bodies is most likely by literally refusing to deliver them to the afterlife. As for the Satan bit, Bahamut is the one who slew Ifrit, who is clearly a reference to said figure.
Impressive, I am surprised that I am not the only one that noticed Bahamut being referenced after the Arch Angel Michael. A surprise indeed... :P
An evil Michael, since the f... wanted to Teraflare the entire world ( in the novel)
Great vid! I love your Bestiary Series
I love how ff takes inspiration from real world mythology. Such amazing and rich lore. Keep up the awesome work Haps!
maybe they should turn him into a fish in the next ff jk
bcbudbro if you love that, un might like SMT
Yey! Your Bestiary is back. They're my favorite.
I hope you do request?
“The sky fortress BahaMOOT.”
Man, please revisit the others!!! New omega in ffXIV, Alexander, Ark......will be awesome...realy good videos man!! Excited with the new content of FFXV as well
Tidus (Tie-Dus)
Tee-Dus!??!?!?
Are you fuckin kidding me bro!?! Do you just butcher these names on purpose?!?! WTF
I was first story about Bahamut the Dragon king this is my life world... this is my own my creations... my ra seru Kai my reborns story!
Bahumat does appear after Ifirt in xv actually. When Noctis sits on the throne and calls the king's they all fly up to Bahumt above the castle before appearing in the throne room
I don't see why he went on to test their loyalty win the Battle of insomnia proved where their loyalties lie. Most of them were so convinced by the Empire's false promises of restoring their homes that they betrayed the line of lucis without a second thought. All of the kingsglaive that were still loyal to the royal family are dead. So in a way it's in situations like this where you either die or loyalists or you live on as a traitor rather than what Bahamut says in the boss fight against him.
You kinda forgot King Bahamut and Jet Bahamut from final fantasy world.
Be ready for part 3 of this video when xv gets more updates
How many Deathflare does Bahamut got?
Just a few small corrections Ardyn was going to be the first King but he wasn't the first. Also the "Jealous King" isn't officially named Izunia though it is most likely.
this makes me wonder. who would win in a fight: Zekrom (Pokemon) or Bahamut? Just normal Bahamut, not including different alterations.
Always a pleasure to watch these :)
Izunia is NEVER stated to be a blood relative. They never EVER mention that man. All Ardyn LITERALLY SAYS is "You'll never guess who Izunia was" Please man, dont continue on Peasants pathetic theory that was debunked by game devs.
fafnir9690 ok I'm super late, but I gotta know, did it suck when you found out you were wrong? Lol. Its ok. We all make mistakes.
Have they said Izunia himself was the brother? Cause all they stated was the throne was taken away from him by his brother. They never ever tie the name Izunia to it unless something recently came out.
fafnir9690 I think that's about as on the nose as they want to get with it. Ardyn's whole character is born from three betrayals: the betrayal of the Astrals, the Crystal, and the Jealous King. Ardyn himself was both the Oracle and Chosen King of Light before those betrayals, so the mere fact that he attached "Izunia" to his persona, and that this name is later found to be, in fact, another person important to Ardyn's being, makes Izunia either an Astral, The Crystal itself, or the Jealous King. Since we can account for the first two (The Astrals are the Six and are absolute. The Crystal is also absolute), then Izunia must be the third. Then comes Episode Ignis to tie Izunia to Ardyn through blood, as you know.
One could still argue that Izunia could be anyone else. (Maybe a shoemaker in Duscae? Maybe Ardyn's wife?), but at this point its all but cemented. Given the construction of the mythos in this game universe, the answer isn't really supposed to be so definite in the first place, but as folks were burning for "clarity" (pun intended) they got it. If none else convinces you then 2018's Ardyn Episode is what you are waiting for.
Yeaaah no lol Izunia has not been stated to be his brother so stop saying he is. Its just like when we were not sure who it was that was given the throne, was it a brother? A cousin? It was likely one of the two but no one was sure. However now that we have it confirmed its the brother, Izunia is stil la unknown. Perhaps you will be right in Episode Ardyne, until then i am not wrong or right and same goes for you.
I remember fighting Bahamut in FFXI.. god, that was so fun. I miss those old days :(
also, Ardyn is still in the right tbh. He did a lot to save lives and got shunned :(
I don't see why he's testing the Loyalty of the kingsglaive the fact that they betrayed the line of lucis during the Battle of insomnia prove that their loyalty is lacking and non-existent to say the least
He does make one more appearance in FFXV Royal Edition, along with all the other Astrals. (Sans Ifrit, of course.)
14:02 - for everyone looking for FFXV Bahamut
It also shows spoilers about Ardyn and some from FFXV Comrades btw
*Great video. Very inormative!*
He warned about spoilers at the beginning of the video. Anyone not heeding the warning has it coming xD
had to skip 15's bahamut cause ive only gotten up to the titan fight. then restarted it cause i wanted to record a playthrough
We need more bestiarys happy!
Good! It feels complete now!
why not do side bestiary, to say the role on those side games but instead of focusing in all of them, only in a few of them at a time
I would like it more if you just do a "Part 2" of given Video
15:50 bahamut is a dragon
Great video Hap, what's the best place to go for 15 lore? I hate the fact that there are only bits and pieces in the game. This video is actually the most comprehensive version of Ardyn's story I've ever seen in spite of the fact that it's not even about him.
Jamal Downer That information is basically all within Ardyn's monologue in chapter 13 and the information found within the Cosmogony. Best place to see comprehensive lore is probably the wiki I guess?
Jamal Downer Arydns beastairy entry is mostly what we know about him right now. And really all I need. Of course his full backstory will be great but it'd not needed
Wiiiii bahamut
Please include FFBE in these. Thank you
Zaki Aoi ffbe is spin off not official
@@Hoggaththegreat Considering that Dissidia exists, I won't be surprised if Lapis and Paladia from FFBE actually exists
Yeeeeah, just gonna skip over bein' able to summon Demi-Bahamut in FFXIV, or were you never a Summoner?
FInal Fantasy Beastiary: REMAKE ... split it in 5 parts and sell it to us over the span of the next 10 years. Man I want VII:R :(
Nitious buy the PS4 port of 7. I did recently to tide me over till Ep Ignis
You are very professional compared to the other early bestiary's in these remakes, its crisp and clean which takes away that raw feeling of the early vids but also clearly communicates the roles. Now get these out faster damn it! Lol, good work haps
first, and love the videos
That mobile version of FFVI looks like garbage.
Fake!!!!
Lightning doesn't summon a white Bahamut... she summons Odin.
