Looks great Laurie! Love them!
+Gretchen's Bakery Thanks Gretchen!!
Very good idea of mixing color.love it.
These fall leaves are so pretty!
1+SUGARCODER Thanks you! I
These are simply gorgeous!
+Creative Cakes by Sharon Thank you Sharon!
Beautiful leaves and I will definitely be purchasing the molds. I was curious as to why it takes a week for the gum paste to set? That seems rather long. I’ve had fondant dry hard within a couple of hours when I worked at a bakery.
Thank you for sharing, they're so cute
+Ambaruchii Thank you!
Oh, what a beautiful work. Thenks for that. sweet greetings Lena
+Lena Zucker auf der Zunge Hi Lena! Thank you so much for watching!
Informative 👏👏👏
I love your videos!
+It's Raining Flour Thank you so much! I really appreciate that!
WOW! what kind of food coloring goes through the air brush?
Beautiful.
+Ornella Maraj Thanks Ornella!! :)
Hi could you tell me a he name of the leaf veiner and where can I get it plz. Thank you.
I love it
Thanks :)
What's the difference between fondant and "gum paste"?
Yeah....I think the airbrushing step wasn’t really needed, but still pretty nonetheless! Airbrush definitely optional........
hi laurie are you willing to share the recipe?
Are the leaves 🍁 soft or hard ?
why airbrush them they were much prettier with just the fondant colors.
"Of course you don't have to airbrush them... leave them 'as is' but airbrushing really brings out these beautiful vibrant colors in those leaves."
Laurie, 2015.
Super! But did she say vines when she meant veins?
+Brenda Nelson Lol!!! Yes I certainly did! I didn't realize until I uploaded. :)
I don’t like the word “edible” in cake decorating because it’s always code for “tastes unpleasant but you can do art with it & it won’t poison you”. Also it’s “veins” not “vines” but they’re very cute
How long would I be able to store these? Or can I not store them at all?
+Karl Fulgencio you could store these for months. Just make sure they are covered so they dont get dust on them. Do not put them in a plastic container or the humidity will melt them. :)
+The Icing Artist Thanks for the reply and the tip! I didn't know about the plastic container.
+Karl Fulgencio No problem! Glad I could help :)
Nice video! ^^
Thanks!!
I've always been taught and told ghat gum paste is not edible, hmmmmmm . Mind is blown.
+FIVE HATHCOCKS Hmm thats odd. I am from Canada, we have two products here. One is gumpaste the other is tylose powder that can be added to fondant to give it gumpaste like properties. Both of those products are edible.
How much tylose powder do you use? Thanks!
Hold up, this is orange, red and yellow. How do you get brown from those? Lol
I don’t see the point of painting the leaves!!!! Why use colored fondant paste in that case???? No use!
pretty finger nails got to go, honey. that's where bacteria and germs like to dwell...under the long nails.
