Hey guys, I searched "euro symbol" to copy paste and the pound symbol came up first. I didn't know the difference. My bad!
Also the Bethesda deal was going on when Bryan was in Vietnam. It seems to be sold out now, but call your local store just in case.
How you didn't know how the euro symbol looked like tbh x)
@@mathieul4303 WHY ARE THERE TWO DIFFERENT CURRENCY SYMBOLS
That's shockingly ignorant. Lol no big deal though I guess. (Do you literally never do business or get support from EU?)
@@YusufNayab because they are two different currencies.
ALT GR + E = € , pretty simple.
it bothers me when Companies try to sell there games online for the same price as a physical copy
They can't screw over their retail partners. But at the same time who's to say no to extra profits. What gets me is when a physical copies costs LESS than the digital versions.
@@Hebdomad7 the copy your download is physical too. There is some physical phenomena going on that represents the data. Could be an electrical or magnetic charge. But it is something. I'm not so sure you can actually hold it in your hand though.
@@1pcfred nope not the same. Physical copy you can resell or trade, but a digital you're stuck with. Also no artwork, no disc, no case.
@@johndoe7109 you may not have the rights to distribute other's copyrighted materials. There's digital artwork. Today with SSD there is no disk, but format is not that important to me. If your PC has no case physical media is not going to change that either. A lot of PCs today don't even have disc drives in them. I have one now but just because I wanted to burn an audio CD. I was feeling retro one day. Lately I've been thinking about ripping some of my DVD collection. Getting that retro mood again.
Yes because it cost them more to make a physical copy than to just make a digital one so I believe digital should be cheaper cause they didn’t have to pay and make the dvd game

I first started using CDkey selling sites because the prices were so much cheaper than buying the games themselves. But over time I've noticed that the "cheap" prices aren't so cheap anymore. The gap in price between buying the full game vs. just the key has narrowed. I guess that's because it has become more popular and more acceptable to buy game keys.
the games are cheap now, just remember that the new games will still be a lot but still less than the original. the last of us part one is around 30 dollars on there, and the orignal price is around 60. a lot but still cheap compared to the original
Thanks for shedding light on this topic, big ups
Agreed. Do you know the volume of counterfeit goods on Amazon? It is staggering. Especially in the beauty cosmetics lines and there was huge fitbit problem a couple years ago when they were really popular. 100% knockoffs were being sold as true items. And it was really hard to tell the difference.
And Amazon allowed it to happen. Most of the time it was even shipped by Amazon through the partner program. They aren't inspecting all these goods to make sure items aren't counterfeited. Especially on the high end fakes.
So why hold these key reselling marketplaces to a higher standard then Amazon?
Guarantee the big AAA game publishers are behind the smear campaign. It's no different then what books publishers tried to do for hundreds of years to the used book market.
Thanks for actually addressing these keys in their current state to people. Many other youtube channels are too bitch made to even address something that's a major part of the industry.
Thank you!
You gave me a whole new perspective on these key selling websites. 🙂
G2A and Kinguin have done right by me so far. Good prices and the keys have always worked.

Thumbs up for the rap at the end, 1993 baby!
I always buy my games from cdkey sites if the game in question is filled with micro transactions and other monetization scams. Otherwise i will consider paying full price.
I realize now you commented this 2 years ago, I am curios though, have you ever gotten banned from doing this?
lmao, we both just here. Anyway, I don’t think so, but you have to make an account with your credit card, so might be unsafe

R cdkeys legit bro? And they real?
@@marshalldteach3545 I would recommend only using cdkeys.com as it is very hard to get banned on it. They are legit and I have gotten my fair share of gamed off of their website. When your buying, make sure you are selecting the right platform as some games are redeemed on ubisoft, steam, epic games, etc.
My most recent key experience: purchased W10 Enterprise LTSB key from eBay for about $7. Email with key came from UK (I'm in the US). Microsoft validated it no problems at all. Using it in my strictly gaming only pc.
I buy a lot of 'grey market' OS keys for the many computers I build as projects and the Virtual Machines I use for network labs. But my main machines (Windows 7, 8.1, 2012 Essentials, Win 10 and UNRAID) I buy the retail versions of the OS so I can upgrade hardware with less hassle. I run more machines than I need, about 12, but 5 OS and a server OS are all retail.
I can understand devs selling keys on these sites. Before recently steam took 30% of sales. Say it's a $60 game, they get $18 from it. Devs can sell those keys for say $10 cheaper and pocket that extra 8 bucks. At least that's how I see it, could be completely wrong.
Bryan, thank you for this. I’ve used these sites before and all good.
@ricky v do the games expire?
@@yurimcfluri4255 Not that I know of.
Games are being released broken with devs not doing much to fix their games imho. I will continue to buy them.

Hello
I've used Kinguin for about 2 years and have purchased over 20 titles of them. All keys activated, and to my knowledge, no key's have been revoked so far. I always check the sellers rating and how much they sold before buying anything .
Why is my order taking so long
I've used Kinguin since it came out, buyed dozen of Key's never got dissapointed. Some Key's did take longer, some Key's got instant activated, but never revoke as you say.
Can't say a bad Word bout it. For my self, it proved.
really like how you edit your videos now.
AHAH! There it is! GOLDEN MIC!
I’ve bought hundreds of games (including Windows keys) on CDKeys and Software Geeks and never had a single problem.
Always cracks me up people sticking up for multi billion dollar companies like Microsoft because of cheap windows keys.
I understand if it was a game studio that needed the money but Microsoft ?? Lol
How would you know if you had accidently bought a stolen key? upon activating it would you get a notification?
The eBay analogy is pretty interesting, but very accurate. My biggest issue with key resellers is that I don't know what their background is, and I don't know if my purchase actually goes to support the developers. Of course, if I specifically did not want to support the developers, (for example, if they were doing something ethically wrong) then I would be much more likely to buy from a marketplace because it would have a lower likelihood of making the developers a lot of money. Still, I would rather purchase from a more reputable site if I can.
vids consistency are lit rn
If you buy from someone who has thousands of sales and 98% positive then youre almost always going to get a legit key.Ive never had any problems and ive bought 40 or so of these keys.I once had red faction removed for some reason but thats only problem ive ever had.

Hey, what's the most reliable key reseller in your opinion?
Your editor was extra today 🤣
I use Green Man Gaming and CDkeys. Between those, humble bundle, and Steam sales I never pay full price for games anymore, even on launch.
Hey Brian, Could you make a video about the lastest Windows Enterprise LTSC version? Seems really nice and comes with pretty much 0 bloatware.
I am all for buying keys from G2A and the like. I am a consumer after all. That being said, it'd be nice if these marketplaces would put forth a real effort to curb unethical use of their sites.
Hey is it even possible to build a $300-$400 PC using used products (including display) that would run demanding games like The Witcher 3 comfortably on 1080p high settings? What parts do you even look out for in this budget?
I bought a fallout 4 season pass key for way less than it was on steam, activated no problem
Could I have bought a red dead 2 digital code for Rockstar and it is fake, or hacked? I didn't understand
please help me, I'm stressed out that I bought a game hack code or something ...
I've used scd and cdkeys for the past two years at least. I've got copies of Office 2016 pro that have been on machines for over a year, still no issues... same with win10 pro. Games have never been anything other than flawless either... You pay, and immediately thereafter you have a key. You enter it and it works. That's all there has ever been to it for me. Time and time again.
Does CD keys work for preorder keys after release of the game?
I got a code with 4 numbers where I have To enter this Code?
What for rig are you rocking in the background with....4 gpu's? Are you still mining Bryan?
I've actually been scammed more on eBay when trying to buy keys! I bought one and Steam said it had been activated. I contacted the sellerand they sent another... ALSO ACTIVATED! I contacted them again and THEY accused ME of trying to scam them by taking all their keys!! Whereas on cdkeys and g2a, I've never had a problem. Though sometimes my bank refuses to pay if the seller is foreign based, in case someone stoll my card info😂
I would absolutely love to see some real investigation into this stuff.
It would be very interesting to see some in-depth explanation on how these keys come into existence, and end up on grey market sites.
I'm not going to pretend that i'm a saint. Though i haven't really used these grey market sites much for games, as i find that games go on sale through legitimate channels, often enough, and on good enough pricing, that i just buy them through their respective launchers.
Windows though, is another matter. That OS is so disgustingly expensive, that i would have to go down several tiers in hardware, each time i built a PC, if i had to pay what Microsoft them selves are asking. And for the state that Windows is in, filled with bloat, driven by anti consumer practices, and so f*cking broken that it's not even funny, i don't think Microsoft has earned that asking price.
While i realise that my opinion probably means very little in regards Microsofts feelings, and possibly even rights on this matter, i don't feel bad, for paying what i actually think their crappy OS is worth, which is as little as humanly possible. I wish there was a better option, that was as user friendly (without the bloat and bugs), and as compatible with both hardware and software, but so far as i know, that just doesn't exist (and no, Linux or MacOS, doesn't really meet those wishes either). This is why monopoly is a bad thing.
I love the prices but I have been screwed over a few times with these keys lol
To summarize some things, game devs generate keys to give to people, but there are cases of devs being hacked and illegal steam keys being sold, so just make sure you know were the keys came from before you buy, stolen keys can lead to a banned account if you used it
There are three types of Windows keys to my knowledge: OEM, Retail, and Volume. OEM Licensing packaged with the HP, DELL, Lenovo-type devices of the world. In these case, the OEM is contracted to provide customer support, so the license is cheaper. Retail...what you buy directly from an authorized MS sales channel. Lastly, the VOLUME license, which are typically sold in bulk at the enterprise level to companies, governments, NGO's, etc.
To find out what type of License you have:
1) Go to the search bar and type in Command Prompt;
2) The Start selection will show the Command Prompt button; to the right part of this window SELECT Run Command Prompt as Administrator;
3) Once in the Command Prompt window (CMD), type within the quotes, as follows: "slmgr /dli"
If you are buying a cheap key off of an eBay store, it is most likely a VOLUME key. Therefore, the terms of that License means you must be using the software on behalf of the organization to which it was licensed. If MSFT were to ever audit that organization, the license could be deactivated.
Just did another build as I bought a Windows 10 Pro Key from Kinguin and it worked perfect as I didn't want to transfer windows again from one machine to another .
Wherever you buy keys, just don't buy them from Keen Shop. They are a scam. Total crooks.

In the long run, software companies allow it generally, because it is in their financial interest to do so. They want you to have their product. You are giving them what they want regardless if you pay or not. Has any game in recent memory, any apple product, even "good" anyways? Do we know what good is?
I get the monthly Humble Bundle and I would buy from SCkey or the others mentioned if it saves me money I will use it. I have gotten some good games from the Humble Bundle monthly membership right now they have a full years subscription for $99 which is a Great deal

Maybe the seller obtained it through fraudulent means like using stolen credit cards
@3:53, I wouldn't call them specialists as they have lost a lot of work compared to when I worked for All Interactive Distribution. They used to have multiple warehouses just on that street along the highway. Now they barely need the space they have and I'm surprised Billabong hasn't swooped in on some of their space.

I want to buy watch dogs 2 on this eneba site for 7$ is it trustworthy ENEBA?
Are all the games digital?
G2A tried to screw me by locking my account for complaining to support.
Unfortunately for them, Paypal agreed that I could get my money back. Because who's to say if I had or hadn't used all of the keys yet?
where is the optimaze windows video with the new w10 update
Have used Grey market a bit.
Still often have issues with keys being shifty some sites worse than others.
G2A is different from what it use to be it is more like Amazon with the clear good vendors then the option to buy from the more shady ones. Even with money back it can be annoying. I have had other games removed from my Accounts due to keys being revoked. Most recently I have had 1 revoke from Cjs-cdkeys and 2 from Kinguin they were sorted out but it does get annoying. The wost case was when I bought the Crew which was a while ago had the key revoked and Battlefield 4 removed from the account due to using a key that was reported as stolen. It was sorted out after a month of complaining about it.
Tho there is a difference between a working key and a legit key.
Legally alot of those Windows Pro keys shouldn't be sold outside the business that bought them as a bundle.
ive only been "scammed" once and that was 2 weeks ago where i bought a win10 pro key from ebay then 2 days later i bought another one but it was the same cd key so i contacted the seller and finally after 2 days, they sent me a new one.
I usually buy keys from Kinguin.net and I've never had a problem with that site.
Is it worth getting the protection? I preferred to go elsewhere as that always bothered me... allcdkeys does a price compare which is nice!
If you're buying a key from a seller with bad reviews I'd get the protection just in case but I mostly pick the highest recommended seller with the best price and not get protection with it. I've never had an issue and I get my key almost instantly via email as soon as I pay.
@@dadgamer6717 The added price of the protection is negligible given what you're already saving. I get it every time, just because I like that little bit of extra coverage should I ever have an issue. (So far, I haven't had any problems)
@@dadgamer6717 I'm covered by EU consumer protection law. You don't pay for rights. If the key is a dud I'd contact support. If they didn't help because I didn't use their 'protection' racket then I'd just reverse the charges and not do business with them again. I bought from them a few times. Only witcher 3 key got delayed activation on its launch week when they had high inflow of bad keys. Mine eventually went through.
Is Kinguin any good for the seller?
I've sold games on Gameflip and got scammed by the company. The buyer got their key and Gameflip kept all of my money. I'm asking because I've got a Switch game and $60 in Nintendo eShop gift cards I need to sell.

Is it normal to buy these keys for windows 10 and for them to work and then suddenly it randomly throwing up the "activate windows" watermark months later and for the watermark to just randomly go away afterward?
There was a widespread activation problem a few weeks ago where the servers revoked a ton of keys then they were all of a sudden good again.

I find this a bit bizarre. I had two genuine copies of Windows 7 when it first came out. After a year both came up with the message that they were not genuine. On contacting Microsoft I was informed that both were pirated. They wanted me to pay hundreds of pounds for new licences. Bear in mind that one was on a Laptop I bought from PC World, the other was a stand alone box also from PC world to upgrade my desktop from XP. Since then I've had no hesitation in gulling Microsoft on every opportunity I have.

I like how these people assume economics just refers to market transactions of buying 100s of keys to decrease the cost of each individual key. Understanding more then theoretical economies of scale is harder then that. But oh well what would I know
I'ts been 7 months... but would you mind explaining yourself a bit to what you mean with your comment ?
recently bought gta 5 on kinguin, got 30 % in game and the key was revoked/disappeared and i couldn't continue.
Is it safe?Does it work on the long run or will Microsoft detect if it is wrong? Kinguin or other place to buy?
idk about other sites but cdkeys works with no issues
Popular sellers can sell you faulty key sometimes and won't affect the ratings and the people left scammed.
With games if I can't download from the site where I'm buying from, I don't buy from there.
I tend to stick to steam and GOG and wait for sales before I buy. Sure I might find games that are cheaper on key sites, but with a library full of unplayed games already, I don't need to buy anything that may be dodgy.
I see CD key sites as buy from me and get it from that guy over there, it's just a dodgy logistics method (you have to download from somewhere), kind of like those Ebay (and elsewhere) sellers that don't actually have stock, but order forward on your behalf and take a cut. I once ordered a camera flash unit from one of these jokers and while they were listed as in the UK, it was dispatched from HK to AUS and when it arrived not working, I had to send it to the US to get a refund with the premium postage charges that entails, never again.
Same with CD keys, buy from some Joker in one part of the world, download from a different mob located elsewhere and if something goes wrong, who do you complain to? I don't need the angst.
I'm prepared to write off windows keys should they fail (none have yet) when they're just a few bucks, but not when they're $20-$30 from these cd key jokers. But given that cd keys can be habit forming, it'd be really shitty if a large portion of your library turns to shit because some company decides your keys aren't of the same status as a full fee genuine paying customer.
What I'll say is that if you're a home user of an OS, productivity software, etc. that you're only buying for personal use to crank out an occasional document or whatever, by all means, go nuts with grey market keys BUT remember that you're still taking a risk that your key(s) could get randomly cancelled at some point in the future. If you're trying to run a legitimate, above-board business then you should only buy software from completely official retail channels: grey market keys are not worth the hassle if something goes pear-shaped (and it's not good for your business' reputation either).
Well all my retail stores still have bad deals. BO4 was still $59.99 on black Friday for PC
Cd keys is good, sometimes sloppy but worth it, my first purchase was dying light which took 5 days to come to me but because of the unfortunate wait they gave me all dlc as a sorry, and today I made a purchase for rocket league, and it came the second I made the purchase, it’s worth trusting
Same
Do you have subs from SA ?!
£30 for a sims 3 expansion on origin you can get them for £4.
I'm using Russian,UK,USA,Singapore and Dutch sims 3 keys.
Its quite simple really. The only reason why any channel would take these sites on for advertising purposes is for the money. And its OK to admit that - but most will not. On most of these grey market sites there is a reason why they have a disclaimer of "use the key within 24 hours" or so. As an owner of a business, we purchase our keys from a Microsoft distributor and for a hell of a lot more than $15 but it doesn't matter if we use the key on day 1 or day 201, it will activate.
Also, a lot of people don't know that you can successfully install Windows 10 Home on any machine and use it indefinitely without even activating it. Microsoft allows this - it just disables some features. I look at it like this - if you can afford to spend $1000, $1500 or more on your system, then you can afford to pay the price for the OS. And if you have an OEM machine with Windows 7 or 8 such as an HP, Dell, Lenovo, etc. you can install Windows 10 and it will auto activate.
Wholeheartedly disagree. What if you only have $1000-1500 that you painstakingly worked for and can't afford more? Not everyone on this planet has this kind of money otherwise there wouldn't be poverty in the first place. If you could afford to spend $1000 on a PC then maybe that's all you could and therefore could not pay an extra $200-$300 because it's simple: you don't have that money for what is essentially a necessity. Not to mention the whole purpose to Win10 in the first place was to make money off people via the system itself. Why would you need to pay an OS premium and THEN still be used to make money off of your data? Now THAT is wrong.
@@Peoplesuuck I see your point, however, there are ways to limit the amount of "data" or telemetry thats accrued. There is no law saying you cannot restrict data collection. My bench computers run Windows 10 Pro and have no data being collected and not even Cortona on them (yes, there is a way to do that). I do not agree that if you only have $!000 to spend that you don't include the OS. Think of it as "I only have $900 to spend" and budget/pick parts accordingly. Instead of getting that GTX1070, get a GTX1060 or a used 1070, there are multiple options.
@@yourpcmd Agree to disagree. Also I run my bench the same way. The issue is: Why pay the premium in the first place? Think of it like a subscription to some service like. I dunno. UA-cam Red or something. You PAY the premium to NOT see ads. Why PAY the massive premium for an OS that STILL uses you to fuel ads. The premium argument would work if it had zero telemetry like Win7
@@Peoplesuuck you do realize that Windows 7 has telemetry too right? And so does 8.1. Check KB2952664 and KB2976978. 😎
