Idk if you still have this but had my 07 tahoe for awhile now and never knew pressing the button multiple times increased the time. Just FYI if you still have this that radio tuner knob in the top right will do what you thought the volume knob will do lol..lot faster.

They are definitely NOT 1/2" bolts. They are 13mm. Close, but no cigar. And ALL vehicles have a battery hold down. GM has a wedge type, with another 13mm bolt. Most American auto makers switched to metric hardware in the late 70s.
Youre making it difficult instead of using a long extension bar so as not to loosen other bolts of the big car. Inappropriate tools instead of a big one.

Direction on how to change a battery on any Chevy product. Disassemble vehicle. Remove battery. Leave the pile of shit in place for disposal. Take new battery and install in any vehicle other than a Chevy.
