With parents and a brother like that who needs enemies? Also she had her men hold him down? Wouldn't that ruin her business or at least warrant a police call? It would have been nice to see the aspect of Amelia just to see how she rationalized her actions because to me it just makes no logical sense.
His grandparents, Leona and new in-laws are gold. As for his parents, brother and Amelia, everything that happen to them was deserved. In fact there should have been a second epilogue moving a few years later where Amelia despite still managing a high buisness abroad is completely lonely and is tormented by guilt especially when receiving news on how happy Joey and Leona are along their daughter
