I heard similar IRL stories of open relationships and when the dude in an open relationship gets a girl and his gf/wife sees who it is they go nuts. Then they’ll try to close the open relationship and attempt to “go back” to things as they were before. Ultimately it always ends in separation and usually the dude if he learnt anything from the previous relationship will usually come out better for it.
