There was nothing better than the Seahawks 49ers games on Sunday night football with Collinsworth and Michaels. Some of the best produced, best battles in my lifetime, dont think ill ever feel the same watching football. Noone esle like Marshawn Lynch, and these 2 defenses.

What makes Willis so good was his fundamentals. You just don't see that kind of stuff anymore, no matter what, if Willis touched someone he always had his arms wrapped low around their legs and would stop any forward momentum from the opposing RB in doing so, or would initiate the stop and let the 2-3 defenders coming right after him finish the tackle. It was just picture perfect play from a Middle Linebacker.

So ya lynch had better stats and the seahawks kicked the 9ers asses that game, but as you can see head to head was always a dog fight between these guys and amazing to watch. You can see he normally breaks down when he's trying to tackle. On that play he didn't break down at all. Just kinda lunged at him a little off balance The very first play showed what happens when they both squared up. They ran into each other like Wild Rams and both were knocked back by one another. Then the Niners gang trackled Lynch. But one on one completely alone and squared up... it was a tie
