I said “ I want that” and dove into my Bible. When I tell you I had no idea what it meant to follow Jesus but I was trying. Our lives have been ROUGH. For 2 years now. Trial after trail and only got more rough when I started following him. The way I was just crying in my bathroom and I see this video pop up. He spoke right to me through you. My husband and 2 children and I are currently living in a hotel going through some of the worst trials we’ve been through. No idea where we are going next. This give me so much hope. I'm only halfway through this pod but let me tell you both I am weeping. I am 20 years old and I've actually been going to a minsitry leadership school in Los Angeles for the past two years. When I was first called there I just had no idea why, but I moved in faith, away from all my friends and family... just so hungry to lay my life down for Jesus. I actually go to the circuit riders Monday nights often with some of my friends and I remember the first time that I went, it was so clear to me thay God was doing something special in California specifically. I remember after my first year of attending the ministry school that I was in, I had the option to go back home ( for me that's arizona ) and God told me so strongly that my home was wherever He called me, therefore I WAS home. Los Angeles is my home because it's where God has placed me. And I am just in tears at the beauty of our Father, calling His children from all over the world, Gen Z specifically, to lay their lives down for His glory. This pod was so beautiful, and I resonated with so much of it... especially the feeling of a place that you were once thriving at, no longer feeling like home because you know God is calling you elsewhere!
That’s so wild you said that because last year I lived in San Diego and I was debating on moving to Arizona but worried about leaving my “home” and God told me the same thing. “home is wherever I am, it’s not a location it’s with me”. ❤

My husband and I have been homeless since last August, because we got evicted for sharing the gospel with the managers in the office at our apartment complex. They were offended to hear what Jesus did for them they were unbelievers I didn’t know they were though . They gave us a 5 day eviction notice to leave ….they waited 3 days …. and we only had 2 day to leave ….they called it noise 😓 …. So we put in our car what we were able to throw away. The rest didn’t have time to take it to the Goodwill as we were leaving the manager of the apartment said if you don’t talk to anyone about Jesus anymore, you can stay we took a stand for the Lord, we said on Christ the solid rock we stand all other ground is sinking sand. So if you could please pray for a home for us we would appreciate it 😇🙏🏻💡🧂🔥🍇🙌💙🩷

Ally, this was so good. I can absolutely relate to you. My husband moved from Ireland to Canada 6 years ago, where we met after just 1 month of him moving here. Now we have a calling in our hearts to move back to Ireland. Canada served its purpose: I met my husband, got married, started our family, and I’m starting to really dive into a relationship with God. I really said to my husband, “God really moved you to Canada to literally just pick me up, and bring me to Ireland.” God really orchestrates our lives in the most beautiful ways. I feel like your move to Nashville was so deliberately planned by God: He needed you to meet Ashley so you can move back to LA together! God bless you both 💗
I did a very similar thing about a year ago, the Lord was calling me to Gainesville Florida. He opened all the right doors, he provided a job, a car, a place to live, community, etc. it has taken time but has been worth it. Obedience is the key to the door of blessing.

THIS is the new normal for you. ☺️ Radical faith will become your lifestyle because so few will answer the call like you have and God will continue to use you in this way as an example of what full surrender to Christ looks like. My husband and I surrendered in this same way back in 2016, and life has never looked “normal” or “mundane”. It’s a constant faith walk, and I’ve learned to love it even though sometimes it can feel like “seriously, Lord? Another radical assignment?😅” You get used to it though and won’t want it any other way. One day you’ll look back on these days and say “can you imagine if we knew where God would be leading us and how many testimonies we’d have to share!🤯” Thank you for your obedience. Same here, this video started playing after whatever I was watching and I just decided to listen to it. I didn’t finish it all yet. Then in the morning I asked God to tell me what he wants me to do in my life. Because I’m struggling with my career. And then this video popped back into my head when I asked that. I wonder if that means the answer is in this video? I struggle to hear from God.
Couldnt finish this last night. Then this morning i had my usual anxiety about life which i prayed for Gods guidance to just organize ny thoughts and priorities cause sometimes theres so much you wanna do u want everything to be perfect and you end up not getting anything done. After prayer i decided to finish this vid and just smazing how i was on 31:28 where ash talks about God not being upset if you step out in faith even if its not slways the right thing. Just another little miracle from God who is faithful ans answers our prayers through brothers and sisters in Christ who are obedient to Him♥️
I had the same type of experience as Ally had recently. I was working like normal, but all of a sudden one day I had this urge to quit my job. I have had times where I thought about it, but it was selfish wants then, but this type of urge was so different and urgent. I put my 2 weeks in without having any backup plan. By the time I officially ended my job I had an interview planned for the next week. I have the job now and just waiting for a job there to be handed to me. This podcast came just in time though because I was just praying to God about what to do next, and I came across this video first and it encourages me to just keep waiting for Him.
I live in California and I have felt that God is going to make a revival in my school with me somehow leading it but I have no clue what He is gonna do. ❤ This was so inspiring!! Also, if you have any events in the future, please post where and when because I WOULD LOVE TO COME! ❤❤❤

Also I wanted to add a personal story! Just yesterday I wrote in my journal the lyrics to the Jesus Image song “All is for Your Glory”! I wrote “just put me anywhere, just put Your glory in me. I’ll serve anywhere. Just let me see Your beauty.” And that night my boyfriend and I had a double date with some friends from out of town. We felt so connected to them and they encouraged us to move to where they live. It was crazy the way we couldn’t stop talking to them and we just felt God’s presence (totally reminded me of the way y’all talked about the people you meant at L.A.). And now listening to this video the morning after just is reaffirming so much for me! If anyone reads this please be praying that God will continue to speak to me and give my boyfriend and I direction. Thank you Ally and Ashley for obeying the Lord and sharing your story!! Doing His Will can feel so lonely at times but I know Jesus is always with us no matter what. And I know He let me see this video after I just did His Will to encourage me 😊 this is just all so relatable! Following Jesus can be scary for a short time but it is ultimately the absolute best forever.

Wow, I really needed to hear this today. ALLY and ASHLEY, I love you two so much. Thank you for being so honest and vulnerable! You guys have helped me to grow my relationship with God so much!! This episode actually brought tears to my eyes. Every Friday there's youth at our church, but then I make up excuses in my mind of why I shouldn't go. This may sound like a little thing for someone else, but it feels kinda scary for me to walk in a new place without knowing anyone. And where you guys said in the episode that we DON'T go alone, because God is ALWAYS with us, it was just a great reminder. I haven't really had friends for probably 2 years. But Jesus is my best friend, and I'm at a place where I know that, if I have Jesus I have enough. BUT I would love to have a community and I think that's also what God wants for me. I feel so nervous to meet new people, (typing this I feel stupid saying that aha🙈) but I pray that God would give me the courage to step out of my comfort zone.❤
I know you guys dont know me, but let me know if you guys want/need an extra roommate lol. I been desiring to live in LA for 2 years now, but I just need some financial faith, but also, I been surrendering to learn how to listen to our Dad's voice because at the end of the day, it's not my Will, but His. I love how you guys explain faith in this episode. I should just pack up and move, even if I need to live in my car with my 14 yr old! lol its more confusing because I do have another life to care for as a single mom. But I love the fact that no matter what step we take in faith, Our Heavenly Father is proud of us! I also wanted to add that the Holy Spirit reminded me of His Word in Isaiah 30:21 while Ashley spoke about faith! And to add the "uncomfortable" piece to it, verse 20 explains it in Isaiah 30:20-21

Ally, this was so good. I can absolutely relate to you. My husband moved from Ireland to Canada 6 years ago, where we met after just 1 month of him moving here. Now we have a calling in our hearts to move back to Ireland. Canada served its purpose: I met my husband, got married, started our family, and I’m starting to really dive into a relationship with God. I really said to my husband, “God really moved you to Canada to literally just pick me up, and bring me to Ireland.” God really orchestrates our lives in the most beautiful ways. I feel like your move to Nashville was so deliberately planned by God: He needed you to meet Ashley so you can move back to LA together! God bless you both 💗

I'm guilty of wanting his time to be our time too and that just hit home.
I did a very similar thing about a year ago, the Lord was calling me to Gainesville Florida. He opened all the right doors, he provided a job, a car, a place to live, community, etc. it has taken time but has been worth it. Obedience is the key to the door of blessing.

Radical faith will become your lifestyle because so few will answer the call like you have and God will continue to use you in this way as an example of what full surrender to Christ looks like.
My husband and I surrendered in this same way back in 2016, and life has never looked “normal” or “mundane”. It’s a constant faith walk, and I’ve learned to love it even though sometimes it can feel like “seriously, Lord? Another radical assignment?😅” You get used to it though and won’t want it any other way. One day you’ll look back on these days and say “can you imagine if we knew where God would be leading us and how many testimonies we’d have to share!🤯”

Same here, this video started playing after whatever I was watching and I just decided to listen to it. I didn’t finish it all yet. Then in the morning I asked God to tell me what he wants me to do in my life. Because I’m struggling with my career. And then this video popped back into my head when I asked that. I wonder if that means the answer is in this video? I struggle to hear from God.

Couldnt finish this last night. Then this morning i had my usual anxiety about life which i prayed for Gods guidance to just organize ny thoughts and priorities cause sometimes theres so much you wanna do u want everything to be perfect and you end up not getting anything done. After prayer i decided to finish this vid and just smazing how i was on 31:28 where ash talks about God not being upset if you step out in faith even if its not slways the right thing. Just another little miracle from God who is faithful ans answers our prayers through brothers and sisters in Christ who are obedient to Him♥️
I had the same type of experience as Ally had recently. I was working like normal, but all of a sudden one day I had this urge to quit my job. I have had times where I thought about it, but it was selfish wants then, but this type of urge was so different and urgent. I put my 2 weeks in without having any backup plan. By the time I officially ended my job I had an interview planned for the next week. I have the job now and just waiting for a job there to be handed to me.
This podcast came just in time though because I was just praying to God about what to do next, and I came across this video first and it encourages me to just keep waiting for Him.
I live in California and I have felt that God is going to make a revival in my school with me somehow leading it but I have no clue what He is gonna do. ❤ This was so inspiring!!

Also I wanted to add a personal story! Just yesterday I wrote in my journal the lyrics to the Jesus Image song “All is for Your Glory”! I wrote “just put me anywhere, just put Your glory in me. I’ll serve anywhere. Just let me see Your beauty.” And that night my boyfriend and I had a double date with some friends from out of town. We felt so connected to them and they encouraged us to move to where they live. It was crazy the way we couldn’t stop talking to them and we just felt God’s presence (totally reminded me of the way y’all talked about the people you meant at L.A.). And now listening to this video the morning after just is reaffirming so much for me! If anyone reads this please be praying that God will continue to speak to me and give my boyfriend and I direction. Thank you Ally and Ashley for obeying the Lord and sharing your story!! I love you both so much! 🩷

Doing His Will can feel so lonely at times but I know Jesus is always with us no matter what. And I know He let me see this video after I just did His Will to encourage me 😊 this is just all so relatable! Following Jesus can be scary for a short time but it is ultimately the absolute best forever.

Wow, I really needed to hear this today. ALLY and ASHLEY, I love you two so much. Thank you for being so honest and vulnerable! You guys have helped me to grow my relationship with God so much!! This episode actually brought tears to my eyes. Every Friday there's youth at our church, but then I make up excuses in my mind of why I shouldn't go. This may sound like a little thing for someone else, but it feels kinda scary for me to walk in a new place without knowing anyone. And where you guys said in the episode that we DON'T go alone, because God is ALWAYS with us, it was just a great reminder. I haven't really had friends for probably 2 years. But Jesus is my best friend, and I'm at a place where I know that, if I have Jesus I have enough. BUT I would love to have a community and I think that's also what God wants for me. I feel so nervous to meet new people, (typing this I feel stupid saying that aha🙈) but I pray that God would give me the courage to step out of my comfort zone.❤
I know you guys dont know me, but let me know if you guys want/need an extra roommate lol. I been desiring to live in LA for 2 years now, but I just need some financial faith, but also, I been surrendering to learn how to listen to our Dad's voice because at the end of the day, it's not my Will, but His. I love how you guys explain faith in this episode. I should just pack up and move, even if I need to live in my car with my 14 yr old! lol its more confusing because I do have another life to care for as a single mom. But I love the fact that no matter what step we take in faith, Our Heavenly Father is proud of us! I also wanted to add that the Holy Spirit reminded me of His Word in Isaiah 30:21 while Ashley spoke about faith! And to add the "uncomfortable" piece to it, verse 20 explains it in Isaiah 30:20-21
