I’ve got a red maple in my front yard , I live in northern Michigan , should I use a tube for it or no ? Keep in mind it’s already 8 feet tall

The tubes can be costly if your planting like 500 trees
I agree but so can a large loss of trees and all your time due to deer or drought, I personally like to plant in smaller numbers and try to take good care of them for a year or 2 before I plant more and have had great luck that way
How much does losing half or more of the crop cost? Not just $’s but time too.
