The fact that Red Skelton would laugh at his own jokes and skits can only mean he enjoyed doing his own show. He could ad lib well and as a kid it was considered normal to watch good clean comedy. Other neat shows we enjoyed were, The Honeymooners, I Love Lucy, an even the adults in our household watched The Flintstones in the evenings. Ah memories.
Red Skelton is always be my favorite comedian genius of all time. I was born in December 1966 as a little kid in the 1970's my parents and I watch him on TV episodes. He is priceless classic, clean and hilarious jokes.
Yep that's her she played grandma Walton on the tv show the Walton's & she was also in a scene or 2 as a young girl on some Laural and Hardy movies way back in the day .
I remember this going to air and watching it again after all these years it so wonderful... I forgot that Telly kept cracking up throughout and his adorable laugh is beautiful.. Rest In Eternal Peace Telly... Remembered, Missed and Love sill.
Besides the talent of Red and Telly, the fact that they mess up the lines and sight gags and kept it going just added to the charm. There was no stopping and redoing it.
I love Red Skelton, one of my very favorite comedians. No matter what character he did, he always came on top with laughter, even if he was laughing at something he did by mistake. All his comedies were live, clean jokes and whatever came out that was it, none stop laughs, even mistakes became a part of his routine storylines ….miss you Red…..👍❤️🙏🏼🤣😇
Telly Salavas name is Tex because everyone calls him Tex but yet he's born in Mexico City. Those were the good old time of comedy. RIP Red and Telly, I love how he Telly Salavas play in 1 episode of the Twilight Zone in Living Doll. Taking doll Tina who finished him off. Saying my name is talking Tina I am gonna kill you. My name is talking Tina you will be sorry. At the end of the show he fell down the stairs and died.
I watched e every episode i could when i was a kid. Which was at least 1 every 3 weeks when my father was on afternoon shift and wasn't home. There was some country western show on opposite of it and pap didn't like comedies much. Never figured out why. But if i remember correctly one of them had Dolly Parton on it. That one i understood.
