Great to meet up coming students and inspire them the same way that your videos do. I have watched you guys for a while now and have never been dissapointed. Awesome work, how it should be done!
Good to see a company working with colleges for some "real world" examples etc. You can only learn so much with books, but touching and working with actual parts is the best thing! 😁👍
Awesome, This is one of the many thing that make Artisan Electrics stand out. Between this and your professionalism on the tools is the reason that potential customers from over the UK are looking go you for work that they'd like to have done.
That was a good experience for the learners to have see like you and to have the opportunity to ask you same questions and to get help that we'll help them this was Cool 👍👍👍
Guys, electric vehicle law. ABC ..always be charging, even if it's a granny plug, you can go for miles then, you have to get out of the ice fill up when empty mentality. Good vid by the way!
I'm leaving the military in the next few years, however I'm... lets say... a little older than your usual apprentice. I work in IT but I'm being drawn to retraining as an electrician, the only things putting me off is my age and the relatively low income from being an apprentice/training electrician, then the worry of finding a placement/job afterwards. Not sure I'd be able to support my family whilst training.
I've seen Jordans Videos for such a long time and I got to say his a phenomenal person, absolutely phenomenal. Jordan if your hiring any more apprentices please let me know! Regardless of the wage I'd just love to work with your team. I have Electrical level 2 Diploma and I'm currently doing Level 3 Privately. Whilst also working 2 years with another electrician. But I'd like to move on to working with yourself just knowing how regulated you are with your work👀🙇🏻♂️ Would be a dream come true. But yeah! Other than that your a total Champ!
I currently have a full time job and really want to do some sort of electrician’s course - not thinking of a career change or anything but just to broaden my knowledge and I find it interesting… I may change career tho. Any tips on any good courses or where to find them?
I felt a bit sorry for the young Man that missed out,but hey he does have an authentic Artisan cap that no-one else has,but it'd be nice if Unilite sent a couple more through,I think it's the little things a good company does, that sets them aside from the rest. A bit like Artisan Electrics.Keep up the great work Jordan.😁 ⚡🔌⚡🔌
Great video, nice positive impact. Electric van question with regard to a fleet. To any employers or anyone with an opinion really. With diesel/petrol it's quite easy for companies to pay for the fuel of fleet vehicles. If staff go to electric, which I'm all for, how will this be arranged. Assuming people park their vans at home, would they charge them off their electricity? Could this be accurately subsidised? Then how easy would this be for book keeping/accounting??
I can't understand why vans have such a limited range TBH, I understand that batteries are heavy, so would eat into the payload, but I suspect that most vans never have that much weight on board. It would make sense to be able to get a van that has enough battery power to not only travel some distance, but also provide a useful power supply on site, as an example, running power tools or providing lighting. Offer the specs that can fit different needs, vans just lend themselves to being that versatile because of their size.
You mentioned expanding to other areas of the country? Do you have plans to go towards the East Midlands? I am about to start my training and hoping to make a career from being an electrician in the future.
@@adamsharp201 Agree Adam. Electrician is great trade and better than most art degrees. However, will not pay more than many Stem majors from top universities in mathematics, electrical engineering, Finance, medicine, dentistry etc or top MBA in private equity, some areas of investment banking, asset management, big law, big Finance etc. Plus far less physical stress, need for equipment, van etc. This is not to take away from one profession over another. All profession will have Pro and cons. Electrician is back bone to any major nation and can provide good middle class salary. Also many electricians are very smart and could easily have gone to a good University if they took that route.
@@adamsharp201 Another point is career is not only based on salary. No point in been miserable making a lot of money in something you hate every day of your life.
