Hi Pavlo, the parts where you read out the text are difficult to understand because of your accent and quality of the sound, so I'd advise you to speak slower and more articulated - no critics, just a friendly advice. From what part of the Ukraine are you and your friend originally from? The Ukrainian "Trident" seal is the crest of King Volodymyr the Great from the year 1.000, who raped thousands of Ukrainian women. So my humble question is. Do y'all really want to wear the crest of a Rapist King? I'm completely ... in awe? I can't think of a word to describe how much I love this city. I would love to visit it after the war. There is something very special here. Thank you for sharing.

I have just returned from lviv. I enjoyed it. But i did not see that many people on the streets as your video shows. Also old town is the posh part. Go outside it you will see a different side than this video.

My great grandmother was from Lviv, it looks amazing there. When Ukraine wins the war I'm definitely planning on visiting.

My mother born in the city of Lviv. It's very beautiful city.

The old parts of Lviv look like Central Europe instead of Eastern Europe because the city was known as Lemberg and was in the Empire of Austria Hungary until 1919. It has Austrian and Polish influences. It was called Lwow when it was in Poland.
Nice looking city I would like to visit after Ukrainian victory.

To supplement - Lviv it belonged to Austria-Hungary in the years 1772-1919, where it ended up after the first partition of Poland. The General City belonged to the Commonwealth for almost 5 centuries and was one of the Polish Royal Cities founded by the Polish king Casimir the Great in 1356 under Magdeburg law.

@@janebaker966 I know a family, her, two Grandmothers and two young teenage children, a dog and a cat, who had to flee Kyiv, they are now in Belgium, she had to visit the city recently for some official reason (her son is reaching military age soon) and a hospital appointment, the block of flats that her home was in is destroyed, it took a direct missile hit. The plot of land outside of the city she and her husband were building a house on has also been destroyed, it was partly built, up to roof level. She managed to meet up with her Husband for a few hours before going back to Belgium and he back to fight. Parts of the country are untouched by the war, just as parts of the UK were during WWII, others have been have been raized to the ground.

Lviv is very a nice city with beautiful heritage and culture. I stayed there for 4 days during my trip back in Euro Cup 2012, and had a nice experience with the food and local people.

That’s because it was part of Poland before the war. Poles took their architectural influences in the 1700’s from Paris. You can still see Polish signs in places. I have friends whose parents were born there who as poles didn’t return after the war. Poles very much lament not still having it, as it’s also of historical importance to them also, not withstanding the fact that several famous Poles were born there.
