Just went yesterday and had a great time. Want to add that the Beijing Metro connects directly to the park, two lines end right there. The station is basically on the city walk area's doorstep. Incredibly convenient. The entire park's quality is top notch and continues to be super popular. Only downside was that the jurassic world coaster was undergoing testing and couldn't ride that. The two 4D type of rides, the Jurassic World and Hogwarts attractions, are very impressive,
Universal Beijing looks so good and is a great park addition for China. My most anticipated ride is a toss up between Jurassic World Adventure and Kung Fu Panda Journey of the Dragon Warrior.
No Fast and Furious ride? I wonder why...... And I wouldn't expect the Hagrid coaster anytime soon. That thing cost 300 million dollars and I doubt Universal is going to spend that right after spending a few billion building this new park. I'd say you have at least a five year wait on that one unless they build a different ride or coaster instead.
Just went yesterday, they had a couple of the cars from the original F&F on display in the city walk area but that's it. The Harry Potter area is certainly the most popular I'd say and expansion will likely come sooner than later, even on a normal weekday that entire area is crammed and ppl of all ages are wearing hogwarts gear and flicking around wands. Got a good view of the plot when riding the little coaster there and plenty of space to fill in. Judging by the park's popularity even a year later it seems like a good investment.
I wonder how many practical rides would be at the park besides roller coasters? It looks like majority of the rides will be screen based which Universal has been highly criticized at its US Parks.
Hmm mavel/transformers? Hulk/transformers rollercoaster Storm tea cup ride/bumble bee tea cup like ride. Spiderman ride/transformers dark ride I feel like the transformers land is just a reskin of the marvel land
I hope the CCP don't come here and crack down this because universal Studios is awesome, and the way the CCP and the US government aren't getting along and so the CCP is cracking down anything American.
Gurl Beijing government owns the majority share of the theme park. Universal only owns a small portion lol. It’s more like the other way around: USA is cracking down anything Chinese. Forgot Huawei already? So maybe be less biased okay
@@jerrygereden no it's actually the CCP that is cracking down everything. It's even crackdown it's own companies if you didn't know...CCP is cracking down the world and so the US have to counteract what the CCP is doing because it uses espionage. So you got to know first before you say im wrong.

But based on your comments, obviously all your info is biased. Like you don’t know the full story yet you think you know everything, how pathetic
Chinese here, I don't know how to alleviate your fears, but I'll first say you shouldn't worry about coming to China. As someone who moved to Canada for education, I get to see how is China portrayed outside of the country and may I say a lot of what the media shows are complete bollocks. You don't have to be scared, because what you fear doesn't exactly exists. Coming to China, you may find a lot of resemblance to the west, and in some areas, even better. I have no idea how you feel right now, but I'll say this, man up and get a flight over here as soon as Covid is over, see the real China for yourself.
I think USB should get an MACK Hyper like DC Rivals called Beijing Rockit which would be very similar to Rip Ride Rockit at USF but way better with more inversions, just one brake run, and more song selections.
True. I didn't even see that but now I do. You got hulk, storm force, and spider man all reskinned. Though to be honest, the Transformers ride in Orlando was always an exact ripoff of the Spider Man ride.
They really pulled no punches at this park. The Jurassic World Ride, DeceptiCoaster, Jurassic Flyers, this park looks amazing. Already near the quality of Islands of Adventure.
decepticon coaster is rethemed hulk ride, the bumblebee ride is just the Storm Force Accelatron ride rethemed, and transformers ride is also at Orlando and is just rethemed amazing adventures of Spiderman , literally this is Beijing's marvel super hero island rethemed to transformers with no new rides
Sadly its only got a 8 rides for whole park only two new ones are panda boat ride and the Jurassic world ride every thing else is knock off or clone of all the stuff at universal in Florida. Was hopping to see more rides systems that where new like family coaster at Japan and mummy car. Ride
Super cool park but would be fantastic if the roller coasters were actually different, makes it so that there’s no real desire to ever visit there. Then again universal and Disney parks aren’t made for roller coasters so I shouldn’t be complaining too much
Kung Fu Panda land and Jurassic World dark ride seem to be the original additions here. Everything else is either a replica or recycled version of what other Universal parks have. Hogsmeade is a smaller, less complete version of Orlando’s Wizarding World
The photo shoot on this video is absolutely amazing. Did you put the order on the back of the tea Rex because it looks like people can ride on the tea Rex is back by getting into the orb vehicle as the saddle. Very interesting and cool looking.
@@Person-wz6iy Yeah. Unfortunately that’s how all character-themes carousels look like. For example, Jessie’s Critter Carousel at Disney’s California Adventure

In order to go to universal's newest and best park... I have to be in the jurisdiction of one of the world's most oppressive governments. 😐

It is, though if they do it right I feel like they could pull it off. Maybe theme the transformers land to a nest military base complex?
This China theme park could bring in a hell of a lot of people because of the massive population in that area

Waterworld feels out of place with it's own land. I dunno I would have preferred that to be axed and had another land in there instead.
