" You must know so much about your pain that you are no longer afraid."🙌🏾 In so doing what force can stand against the us the temple can not be torn down when grounded down. 🔥I AM grateful for your teaching style and that it came up on my youtube feed. This is so helpful to remember that these are cyclical experiences within us.. Emerging.. Manfiesting.. When we face the pain we are able to be made a new. Death of the current state and a luminosity of the transfigured self.. It's so close.... Then that hateful voice rises up dutifully condemning me. I heard her vengeful snarl while listening to this message actually😝.. I AM being gentle with myself and speaking lovingly to myself after a hateful episode from the parasite that seeks me soul..I keep saying yes and I AM, so glad I AM, here now !🙏🏽🙏🏽💗🌊🌊 Ase' thanks for the teaching 😊

Don't fear pain. What is killing you wants you to forget that it's killing you.

Hi Guy, I am a great fan of you and your book The Secret of Letting Go. I have a humble question for you: Everyone is driven to meaningfully contribute in life, is this something that can be let go? Or is this something innate about human beings? I have been letting go since a couple of months pretty successfully but I am not sure about certain things like this one. This is putting me in a state of conflict! Can you help, please?

Hi Jayesh - Kate with Life of Learning here. I work closely with Guy and attend classes regularly at his Foundation. Your question brings to mind a few talks I remember Guy giving about life purpose and how the job of a spiritual aspirant is to "wait on God." Any urge we feel to make a meaningful contribution in this life comes from that which the urge serve -- we are creations of the Divine (Truth, Life, whatever word you'd like to use) and are intended to be its instrument. The clearer this becomes to us, the more we work to understand what it means to "wait on God" -- that is, divine instruction, if you will. On a practical level, this can be as small as listening to the voice in us that says "don't get impatient with this person" -- or it can be as big as working to establish a business which helps the underprivileged. Meaningful contributions in life come in all shapes and sizes -- our work is to clear the way for the "divine instruction" to come, by letting go of anything we come to understand only serves our self-made false purposes. That is the true "letting go."

Thanks for the response, Kate/Guy. I understand what you are saying, however, I am asking this question because, if I have to harbour the wish to help others or do something through the divine instruction I will depend on it for my pleasure which I don't want to as I may end up in a situation of clinging to things as Guy says. I don't want to cling to anything! However, this divine urge looks and feels the same as any other urge which is luring me to "dance with the emotions" and would ultimately throw me into an ugly situation. Having let go, I am not worried about this, but I do seem to not "understand" this specific situation. I am not able to differentiate Truth's will from my own.

@Jayesh Kitukale....that urge to contribute to the well being of the world is coming from false self...you must let it go...at that moment..your true self...awakens and starts to contribute positively to the world.
