The news puts me in a masculine thinking mode. My favorite journalist is Candace Owens. I enjoy her content and I love listening to her but it leaves me feeling pessimistic, suspicious, untrusting, and gossiping of our country's leaders. As Christians we know regardless of what happens on earth, God eternally remains on the throne. Immovable, unshakable, working all things for the good of those who love Him. I wonder if Christ Jesus would keep up-to-date with each and every important news headline? Probably not because He often left the everyday hussle and bustle of the world to pray in solitude at deserts and mountains. I appreciate your peaceful content so much because it reminds me of how Christ Jesus retreated from the world for one-on-one prayer time with God the Father for healing. You and your channel are like a cool drink of water for me suffering from a heatwave. I want to be informed on the latest news but this morning, I woke up with a pressure in my chest and shortness of breath. Anxiety no doubt. I'll use the skills I've learned from your channel and other Christians to anchor and calm myself with the peace of Christ. But when politics do come up in conversation, like with the young adult group from my church or with family, how do I remain in my femininity? I think I should just listen to others, take deep slow breaths thru my nose and remain rooted in Christ's peace. "Behold I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves.
