The grand suite 1 bedroom is probably the best suite on the boat in regards to cost and what you get along with it, the owners suite is a close second but it costs a more. I prefer the grand suite on harmony and symphony more due to the partition instead of a big curtain separating the area's. Also 2 tv's. Some good points you should make with this is sky class perks that come with it. You mentioned coastal kitchen for dining, but not the suite lounge its connected to. IE, the snacks, juices, coffee machine, and sodas you can get at the bar throughout the day. Then from 11am-11pm the free beer and house level wine that is included. Then 5-8 the open bar for mixed drinks and stuff.

How well sound proofed was your suite ? Last, we have never been on RCCL much less on any ship of this size. Do you suggest we book this suite on the 8th deck as that deck appeals to us with easy access to Central Park ? It looks to have perks that are already available to people in suites, or am I mistaken? Is this for people in regular rooms to get suite perks, or are there added perks even suite members do not get?
So yes and no, the best part of being in Grand Suites and above is the extra suite only areas. The coastal kitchen, and the suite sun deck specifically are a huge game changer. Both of these are not include with the key. Purchasing the key is a great way for a lower stateroom to get some nice added bonuses, but it's not even close to the Sky Class inclusions that you will receive with your Grand Suite. I was just didn't understand it was there as an option when I already had the grand suite. This was more of a rush to get one of the last 3 grand suites for our date, so I just did it through RC's website, but I will definitely go through your agency next time. This was just a shorter cruise on Oasis with the wife so we could get a feel of a cruise before I decided to take the whole family and in-laws on Symphony. Once again, love your channel.
Sky Class is made up of the 2BR Grand Suite, along with the 1BR Grand Suite, Crown Loft, Aquatheater 1BR, and Owner's Suite. There is no category currently named the "Sky Class Family Suite"
@@HarrTravel There are 3 classes of Suites on Oasis class ships, SEA-Junior suites, SKY-Family suites which are two different types on OA class of ship, Grand suites, Owner suites, Aqua suite on DK14, 12 and 11 which are one bedroom, one bathroom and relatively smaller balcony than the rest of the Aqua suites, plus some of the lofts located on DK17. STAR class are the Aqua suites ond DK8,9 and 10, the unique Ultimate Panoramic view suite located on top of the Bridge which is DK14 FWD, and the rest of the Lofts. As you know, Royal Genie service is provided only for STAR class suites, and there are duplex Lofts on DK17 which are not entitled to it. Letter placed inside the suites in the black folders are clearly designated on top as SEA, SKY and STAR where is written which are the perks staying in the suites for the Guests.
This was a 2 day shakedown cruise before the ship was officially back in service. It was great as we were able to film the ship at a slower pace and film over 20 stateroom categories. Many times we are on the ship on a turn around day. We can generally only get a few suites and then the ship in that amount of time. @Taylorhaenny really works miracles filming and getting the pans.
There were about 4,500 passengers. Most were Royal employees and their families. I loved that they gave so many of their employees the opportunity to cruise with their families and experience the product. We were the only travel advisors onboard this one.
I would be interested in a suite like this but I am also a tall man. I am 6'4. I noticed you demonstrated having to duck down in the shower. How tall are you Sir? I just want to gage how the shower would work for me.
So many factors to consider, it is nearly impossible to give you a great estimate in pricing. Especially when you have price fluctuations between all of the Oasis Class vessels as well. But that is why you work with a Harr Travel advisor to go over all of the options for you.

There is only one class of Sky class Grand suite on OA class cruise ships, two bedroom is already Sky class Family suite.
